Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Media Komik Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Materi Daur Air”. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 96 Pasir Kaliki dengan sample siswa kelas V 2 yang berjumlah 27 orang. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 96 Pasir Kaliki bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi daur air masi rendah, untuk mengatasi masalah ini dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan menumbuhkan respon positif terhadap mata pelajaran IPA melalui penggunaan media komik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart, dimana dari setiap siklusnya menggunakan empat komponen penelitian tindakan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus, dengan materi yang disampaikan adalah daur air. Berdasarkan hasil analisi dari hasil tes dan observasi pada saat pembelajaran setiap siklus hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari tiap siklus dan perolehan persentasi ketuntasan hasil belajar yang terus meningkat. Dengan rata-rata nilai siklus I sebesar 70,37 serta persentasi ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 59,25%. Pelaksanaan siklus II nilai rata-ratanya sebesar 73,89 serta persentasi ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 77,78% dan pelaksanaan tindakan siklus III nilai rata-ratanya sebesar 84,07 serta persentasi ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dari setiap siklus siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap pembelajaran IPA dengan mengunakan media komik. Oleh karna itu diharapkan guru menggunakan media komik dalam pembelajaran IPA dikelas. The method used is the method of Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart, wherein each cycle of action research using four components: planning, action, observation and reflection. This research was conducted as many as three cycles, the material presented is the water cycle. Based on the results of analysis of the test results and observations during each cycle of learning achievement of students has increased, this is evidenced by an increase in the average value of each cycle and the percentage gain mastery of learning outcomes that continue to rise. With the average value of the first cycle of 70.37 and the percentage of mastery learning outcomes of 59.25%. Implementation of the second cycle of the average value of 73.89 and the percentage of mastery learning outcomes by 77.78% and the implementation of the action cycle III mean score of 84.07 and the percentage of mastery learning outcomes by 100%. Based on the observation of each cycle students responded positively to learning science using the comics medium. By because it is expected of teachers using media in learning science class comic.
