Abstract

Perkembangan sistem operasi dan era digital adalah dua aspek yang berhubungan dan terintegrasi. Salah satu sistem operasi yang berkembang saat ini adalah sistem operasi linux yang didirikan pada tahun 1991, perkembangan linux tidak sebanding dengan usia yang telah lama, hal tersebut bisa terlihat dari pengguna sistem operasi yang masih rendah. Penurunan keputusan penggunaan sistem operasi linux dapat ditangani dengan cara menganalisis perbedaan prilaku individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perbedaan individu, keputusan menggunakan, pengaruh perbedaan individu terhadap keputusan menggunakan sistem operasi linux di Indonesia. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah pengguna sistem operasi linux di Indonesia. Variabel bebas (X) dalam penelitian ini adalah perbedaan individu, serta variabel terikat (Y) yaitu keputusan menggunakan. jenis penelitian yang digunakan ada deskriptif verifikatif dan metode yang digunakan yaitu explanatory survey dengan teknik sampel random sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier sederhana dengan alat bantu software komputer SPSS 21.0 Hasil temuan penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa perbedaan individu memiliki pengaruh sebesar tujuh puluh empat koma delapan puluh dua persen terhadap keputusan menggunakan dengan tingkat kolerasi sangat kuat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan sebagai dasar untuk dilakukannya penelitian lain mengenai perbedaan individu terhadap keputusan menggunakan dengan indikator dan objek yang berbeda. Kata kunci: Perbedaan Individu, Keputusan Menggunakan The developing operating system and digital era are two aspect that are related and integrated. Nowadays, one of developing operating system is linux that has been existing since 1991, mean while, it can be seen from less of linux operating system. The decreasing of decision the use linux operating system can be solved by analyzing the differences of individual behaviour. This research aim to describe individual difference, decision to use linux operating system, and the influence of to use linux operating system in Indonesia. The analysis unit in this research is the users of linux operating system. The independent variable (X) in this study is individual differences, and dependent variabel (Y), is the decision to use linux operating system. This research use descriptive verifiacation and explanatory survey method with random sampling technique. The total sampling are 100 responden, data were analysed by statistical package version 21.0 This result of the result research is that the impact of individual difference is percentage seventy four point eighty two which is highly correlated on the decision of user. This research can be used as base evidence for further research about the impact of individual difference on users’ decision with difference individual indicator and object.
