    Abstract

    Kemampuan numerasi merupakan salah satu keterampilan mendasar yang harus dikuasai siswa sekolah dasar untuk untuk menghadapi tantangan pada abad 21. Salah satu faktor penting yang memengaruhi pencapaian kemampuan tersebut adalah self-efficacy, yaitu keyakinan diri seseorang terhadap kemampuannya dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Purbaratu Kota Tasikmalaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode kolerasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 140 siswa dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan multistage random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas V di SDN Kecamatan Purbaratu Kota Tasikmalaya berada paling banyak berada pada tingkat self-efficacy tinggi sejumlah 55 siswa. Kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas V di SDN Kecamatan Purbaratu Kota Tasikmalaya paling banyak berada pada tingkat kemampuan numerasi sedang sejumlah 48 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis yang dilakukan menggunakan uji kolerasi Pearson Product Moment dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai Pearson Correlation sebesar 0,723, artinya terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan dan kolerasi yang kuat antara self-efficacy dengan kemampuan numerasi siswa di SDN Kecamatan Purbaratu Kota Tasikmalaya. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi self-efficacy siswa maka semakin baik pula kemampuan numerasinya. Numeracy ability is one of the fundamental skills that elementary school students must master to face the challenges of the 21st century. One important factor that influences the achievement of this ability is self-efficacy, namely a person's confidence in their ability to complete tasks. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and the numeracy ability of fifth-grade students at Purbaratu District Public Elementary School, Tasikmalaya City. This research method uses a quantitative approach correlational method. The study population was 140 students and sampling was carried out using multistage random sampling. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. The results showed that fifth-grade students at Purbaratu District Elementary School, Tasikmalaya City were mostly at the high self-efficacy level, amounting to 55 students. The numeracy ability of fifth-grade students at Purbaratu District Elementary School, Tasikmalaya City was mostly at the medium numeracy ability level, amounting to 48 students. Based on the results of data analysis using hypothesis testing conducted using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with a sig. value. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 and Pearson Correlation value of 0.723, meaning there is a significant positive relationship and strong correlation between self-efficacy and students' numeracy skills at SDN Purbaratu District, Tasikmalaya City. This finding indicates that the higher a student's self-efficacy, the better their numeracy skills.
