Abstract
Sikap tanggung jawab anak usia dini penting untuk dikembangkan karena menjadi dasar pembentukan karakter. Namun, di kelompok B2 TK Angkasa, sikap ini masih rendah dan terjadi akibat pembelajaran guru masih bersifat teacher centered. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab tersebut melalui peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis STEAM. Subjek penelitian adalah 13 anak (5–6 tahun) kelompok B2 TK Angkasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model John Elliot, dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan masing-masing dua pertemuan (perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi) untuk memastikan konsistensi peningkatan sikap tanggung jawab anak. Instrumen penelitian yang divalidasi oleh ahli sebelum digunakan meliputi instrumen observasi dan studi dokumentasi, dengan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sikap tanggung jawab diukur melalui lima indikator dengan kriteria keberhasilan mencapai ≥75% (BSH). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran berdampak pada peningkatan sikap tanggung jawab anak. Pada pra siklus, capaian sikap tanggung jawab mencapai 43,46% (BB), meningkat pada siklus I pertemuan 1 menjadi 61,15% (MB), menurun pada pertemuan 2 menjadi 60,77% (MB), kemudian meningkat pada siklus II pertemuan 1 menjadi 76,54% (BSH) dan meningkat pada pertemuan 2 menjadi 79,62%, lalu siklus III pertemuan 1 dan 2 capaian konsisten meningkat dari 88,46% hingga 90,38% (BSH). Penelitian dihentikan pada siklus III karena capaian memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan dan menunjukkan peningkatan stabil. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL berbasis STEAM efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab anak dan memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. The attitude of responsibility in early childhood is important to develop because it is the basis for character formation. However, in group B2 of Angkasa Kindergarten, this attitude is still low and occurs due to teacher-centered learning. This study aims to improve the attitude of responsibility by improving teachers' abilities in planning and implementing learning based on the STEAM-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. The subjects of the study were 13 children (5–6 years old) in group B2 of Angkasa Kindergarten. This study used the John Elliot Classroom Action Research (CAR) model, implemented in three cycles with two meetings each (planning, implementation, observation, and reflection) to ensure the consistency of improving children's attitudes of responsibility. Research instruments validated by experts before use included observation instruments and documentation studies, with qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The attitude of responsibility was measured through five indicators with success criteria reaching ≥75% (BSH). The results showed that improving teachers' abilities in planning and implementing learning had an impact on improving children's attitudes of responsibility. In the pre-cycle, the achievement of the attitude of responsibility reached 43.46% (BB), increased in cycle I meeting 1 to 61.15% (MB), decreased in meeting 2 to 60.77% (MB), then increased in cycle II meeting 1 to 76.54% (BSH) and increased in meeting 2 to 79.62%, then in cycle III meetings 1 and 2 the achievement consistently increased from 88.46% to 90.38% (BSH). The study was stopped in cycle III because the achievement met the success criteria and showed a stable increase. This study shows that the STEAM-based PjBL model is effective in improving children's attitudes of responsibility and provides practical contributions to Early Childhood Education.
