    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan karakter kerjasama siswa melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning dalam pembelajaran seni tari di kelas XI-4 SMAN 5 Cimahi. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam bekerjasama dalam kegiatan pembelajaran tari kreasi, seperti kurangnya diskusi kelompok, kesulitan menyatukan ide, serta minimnya rasa tanggung jawab dan toleransi antar anggota kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pre-eksperimental dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes, serta dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam karakter kerjasama siswa, ditandai dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari pretest sebesar 80 menjadi 93 pada posttest. Aspek yang mengalami peningkatan meliputi kemampuan bekerjasama, toleransi, partisipasi aktif, dan tanggung jawab terhadap tugas kelompok. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model Cooperative Learning efektif dalam menumbuhkan karakter kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari. Dengan demikian, model ini dapat dijadikan strategi pembelajaran alternatif yang berfokus tidak hanya pada pencapaian akademik, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter sosial siswa. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' cooperative character through the application of the Cooperative Learning model in dance lessons in grade XI-4 of SMAN 5 Cimahi. The background of this study is based on students' low ability to collaborate in creative dance learning activities, such as lack of group discussion, difficulty synthesizing ideas, and a minimal sense of responsibility and tolerance among group members. This study used a pre-experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and tests, and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed a significant improvement in students' cooperative character, indicated by an increase in the average score from 80 on the pretest to 93 on the posttest. Aspects that experienced improvement included the ability to cooperate, tolerance, active participation, and responsibility for group assignments. This indicates that the Cooperative Learning model is effective in fostering students' cooperative character in dance lessons. Thus, this model can be used as an alternative learning strategy that focuses not only on academic achievement but also on the development of students' social character.
