Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan menguji efektivitas strategiself-management dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimenkuasipretest posttest control group design. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Kota Sukabumi dengan mengambil populasi penelitian yakni siswa kelas X (sepuluh) yang ditentukan dengan teknikpurposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Instrumen Pengungkap Keterampilan Sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara empirik, intervensi strategiself-management efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa. Kata Kunci :Self-Management,Self-monitoring,Self-reward, Self-contract, Stimulus control, Keterampilan Sosial. The research aims to test the effectiveness of self-management strategy to develop students' social skills. The research uses a quantitative approach ofkuasi experimental research method pretest posttest control group design. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Sukabumi with taking the sampleof population are students of the 10th was determined withpurposive random sampling technique. The instrument of this research was the discloser Instrument of Social Skills. The results showed empirically, self-management intervention strategywas effective in developing students' social skills. Keyword :Self-management,Self-monitoring, Self-reward, Self-contract, Stimulus control, Social Skill.
