    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pembelajaran Living Values Education (LVE) berbasis kompetensi abad 21 dalam Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) untuk menguatkan social skills peserta didik SMA di Kabupaten Karawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan kerangka ADDIE, yang meliputi studi pendahuluan, perancangan model, validasi melalui Focus Group Discussion, uji coba terbatas, revisi, dan uji coba luas. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PPKn masih berpusat pada guru dan dominan kognitif, sehingga kompetensi abad 21 seperti komunikasi, kolaborasi, tanggung jawab, dan literasi digital belum berkembang secara optimal. Sebagai hasil pengembangan, dirumuskan model LUSIE (Literature Review, Using Values, Show, Implementation, Evaluation) yang secara sistematis mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai LVE dengan keterampilan abad 21. Keunggulan model ini dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional terletak pada sintaks yang memungkinkan peserta didik terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran kontekstual dan berbasis proyek digital. Efektivitas model dibuktikan melalui uji coba luas: di SMAN 5 Karawang kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata N-Gain 0,72 (kategori tinggi) dibanding 0,28 pada kelas kontrol, sedangkan di SMAN 1 Jatisari kelas eksperimen mencapai 0,68 berbanding 0,26 pada kelas kontrol. Novelty penelitian ini terletak pada pengembangan model LUSIE yang tidak hanya mentransfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga membentuk keterampilan sosial melalui pengalaman belajar kontekstual yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi digital. Model ini direkomendasikan untuk diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum PPKn di SMA, serta menjadi acuan praktis bagi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis nilai, pendidikan karakter, dan pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam sesuai tuntutan abad 21. This study aims to develop a Living Values Education (LVE) learning model based on 21st-century competencies in Civic and Pancasila Education (PPKn) to strengthen the social skills of high school students in Karawang Regency. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE framework, which included preliminary study, model design, validation through Focus Group Discussion, limited trials, revisions, and extensive trials. The preliminary findings revealed that PPKn learning remains teacher-centered and predominantly cognitive, thus 21st-century competencies such as communication, collaboration, responsibility, and digital literacy have not been optimally developed. As a result, the LUSIE model (Literature Review, Using Values, Show, Implementation, Evaluation) was formulated to systematically integrate LVE values with 21st-century skills. The superiority of this model compared to conventional learning lies in its syntax, which enables students to actively engage in contextual and project-based digital learning. The model’s effectiveness was confirmed through extensive trials: at SMAN 5 Karawang, the experimental class achieved an average N-Gain of 0.72 (high category) compared to 0.28 in the control class, while at SMAN 1 Jatisari the experimental class reached 0.68 compared to 0.26 in the control class. The novelty of this research lies in the development of the LUSIE model, which not only transfers knowledge but also cultivates social skills through contextual learning experiences integrated with digital technology. This model is recommended to be integrated into the PPKn curriculum in senior high schools and serve as a practical reference for teachers in designing value-based learning, character education, and deep learning approaches aligned with 21st-century demands.
