Abstract

This research is motivated by the low result mathematics learning material addition and subtraction of fractions in the 4th a grade students of SDN Cibeunying . The goals of this research is to know the learning process and the increase in learning outcomes of material addition and subtraction mathematics fractions with the use of media "Mika Ajaib". The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research Model Kemmis & McTaggart through two cycles. The result of this research is the implementation of learning in general has been going well, and there is an increase in mathematics learning outcomes matter of addition and subtraction of fractions, namely an increase in the average value of 27.36 with an increase in the percentage of mastery learning by 52 , 64% in the first cycle, and an increase in the average value of 5.00 with a percentage increase of 10.52% passing grade on the second cycle. Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan pada siswa kelas 4 SDN Cibeunying. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran dan peningkatan hasil belajar matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan dengan penggunaan media “Mika Ajaib”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Model Kemmis & McTaggart melalui dua siklus. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara umum telah berlangsung dengan baik, dan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan, yaitu peningkatan rata-rata nilai sebesar 27,36 dengan peningkatan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 52,64% pada siklus I, dan peningkatan rata-rata nilai sebesar 5,00 dengan peningkatan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 10,52% pada siklus II.
