    Abstract

    Dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan meningkatkan lulusan yang mempunyai tenaga profesional di bidang kependidikan, Program StudiPendidikanTeknikBangunanharusdapatmeningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang kompetensi profesional guru. Kompetensi profesional guru merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat penting, selain kompetensi profesional, terdapatbeberapakompetensi guru yang meliputi kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, dan kompetensi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa tentang profil kompetensi profesional guru.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan datadalampenelitianini dengan menggunakan angket. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 75 mahasiswa dari jumlah populasi 146 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan angkatan 2009,2010,2011 dan 2012 Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil FakultasPendidikanTeknologidanKejuruanUniversitasPendidikanIndonesia.Dari hasil analisis dan hasil uji normalitas data Tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa tentang profil kompetensi profesional guru, sebagianbesar mahasiswa Program StudiPendidikanTeknikBangunandalam kategori cukup tinggiuntukmemahamiprofilkompetensiprofesional guru.

    In order to increase educational quality and increasing the fresh graduated students ability in professional education section, the level students comprehension of teacher’s professional competence. Teacher’s professional competence is one of the important factor, besides professional competence, teacher’s competence is also including pedagogical competence, personal competence, and social competence. This research is aiming to discover the level of student’s comprehension about teacher’s professional competence pofile. This research is descriptive research using quantitative method. Data gathering instrument is used by providing questionnaire. The sample in this research are about 75 university student’s out of 146 population of builder’s technic education students from the years of 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 the Civil Technic Education Program FPTK-UPI. Based on the analisys result and the data normality test result of student’s comprehension level about teacher’s professional competence profile, the half of students in the average category.
