    Abstract

    Kemampuan keaksaraan awal anak usia 4–5 tahun di Kober Al-Urwatul Wutsqa, ditandai dengan mayoritas anak yang kesulitan mengenal huruf. Kondisi ini diperparah oleh kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran, sehingga proses pembelajaran kurang bermakna dan tidak efektif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang aktif, inovatif, dan bermakna sesuai tahap perkembangan anak untuk mendukung keterlibatan serta pemahaman yang optimal dalam proses belajar, salah satunya adalah media secret alphabet berbasis loose part. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan keaksaraan awal pada anak usia 4-5 tahun melalui media secret alphabet berbasis loose part di Kober Al-Urwatul Wutsqa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian adalah 12 anak dari kelompok A, yang terdiri dari 5 anak laki-laki dan 7 anak perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada seluruh tahapan penelitian. Skor perencanaan pembelajaran meningkat dari 53,57% (Siklus I) menjadi 89,28% (Siklus II). Skor pelaksanaan pembelajaran meningkat dari 59,37% (Siklus I) menjadi 87,5% (Siklus II), Kemampuan keaksaraan awal anak meningkat dari 26,04% (pra tindakan) menjadi 51,04% (siklus I), dan mencapai 86,5% (siklus II) dan hasil refleksi menunjukkan perbaikan dari setiap siklus. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media secret alphabet berbasis loose part terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan keaksaraan awal pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di Kober Al-Urwatul Wutsqa. The early literacy skills of children aged 4-5 years in Kober Al-Urwatul Wutsqa are characterized by the majority of children having difficulty recognizing letters. This condition is exacerbated by the lack of variety in learning media, so that the learning process is less meaningful and ineffective. Therefore, active, innovative, and meaningful learning media are needed according to the child's developmental stage to support optimal involvement and understanding in the learning process, one of which is the secret alphabet media based on loose parts. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) model Kemmis & Mc Taggart. This study aims to improve early literacy skills in children aged 4-5 years through the secret alphabet media based on loose parts in Kober Al-Urwatul Wutsqa. This research was carried out collaboratively. The subjects of the study were 12 children from group A, consisting of 5 boys and 7 girls. Data were collected through observation and documentation techniques, then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed an increase in all stages of the study. The learning planning score increased from 53.57% (Cycle I) to 89.28% (Cycle II). The learning implementation score increased from 59.37% (Cycle I) to 87.5% (Cycle II), Children's early literacy skills increased from 26.04% (pre-action) to 51.04% (cycle I), and reached 86.5% (cycle II). and the results of the reflection showed improvements from each cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of loose part based secret alphabet media has proven effective in improving early literacy skills in children aged 4-5 years at Kober Al-Urwatul Wutsqa.
