    Abstract

    Abad 21 menuntut lulusan perguruan tinggi untuk memiliki kompetensi hard skill, soft skill, dan modal sosial yang kuat. Tingginya angka pengangguran lulusan perguruan tinggi, menurut data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) pada tahun 2024 menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan kompetensi dengan kebutuhan kerja. Pemerintah memberikan solusi dan upaya yang terbaik dalam mengatasi kualitas SDM, sehingga terwujudnya program MBKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Implementasi Program MBKM Magang dan Kampus Mengajar dalam kemampuan modal sosial mahasiswa FPIPS UPI, serta dampak yang dihasilkan dari partisipasi mahasiswa dalam program tersebut. Metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus, data ini dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kedua program ini berhasil membangun kepercayaan melalui komunikasi terbuka dan interaksi positif. Jaringan sosial yang terbentuk selama program memberikan akses untuk informasi mengenai dunia kerja dan peluang karir. Selain itu, norma yang dijunjung tinggi seperti saling menghargai dan tanggung jawab, memeperkuat kolaborasi antara mahasiswa dan mitra. Hubungan timbal balik yang terjalin selama program menciptakan sinergi yang bermanfaat bagi kedua belah pihak. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Program MBKM Magang dan Kampus Mengajar berkontribusi dalam pembentukan kemampuan modal sosial mahasiswa FPIPS UPI yang menjadi aset berharga dalam menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja. The 21st century demands college graduates to have strong hard skill, soft skill, and social capital competencies. The high unemployment rate of college graduates, according to Badan Pusat Statistics data (2024), shows a gap between competency and work needs. The government provides the best solutions and efforts to address the quality of human resources, so that the MBKM program is realized. This study aims to analyze the Implementation of the MBKM Internship and Teaching Campus Programs in the social capital capabilities of FPIPS UPI students, as well as the impacts resulting from student participation in the program. The research method uses a qualitative case study approach, this data was collected through interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of these two programs succeeded in building trust through open communication and positive interactions. The social networks formed during the program provide access to information about the world of work and career opportunities. In addition, the norms that are upheld such sas mutual respect and responsibility, strengthen collaboration between students and partners. The reciprocal relationship that is established during the program creates a synergy that is beneficial to both parties. This study confirms that the MBKM Internship and Teaching Campus Programs contribute to the social capital capabilities of FPIPS UPI students which are valuable assets in facing challenges in the world of work.
