    ABSTRAK

    Kapasitas anaerobik yang optimal sangat penting dalam bola voli pantai karena olahraga ini menuntut gerakan eksplosif berulang dalam durasi singkat. Namun, strategi latihan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kapasitas anaerobik pada atlet putri bola voli pantai masih menjadi tantangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model latihan Optimum Performance Training (OPT) dalam meningkatkan performa kapasitas anaerobik melalui periodisasi latihan yang terstruktur. Desain penelitian menggunakan post-test only control group design dengan 12 atlet putri yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang menerima intervensi OPT selama 20 minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali seminggu, serta kelompok kontrol yang menjalani model latihan konvensional. Kapasitas anaerobik diukur menggunakan RAST-Test (Running-based Anaerobic Sprint Test). Hasilnya terdapat peningkatan performa kapasitas anaerobik yang lebih signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok control. Teknik analisis data uji T-independen menggunakan SPSS 22 untuk menentukan perbedaan kapasitas anaerobik antara kedua kelompok setelah intervensi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (Sig = 0,00 < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa OPT lebih efektif dibandingkan model latihan konvensional dalam meningkatkan kapasitas anaerobik atlet bola voli pantai. temuan ini adalah OPT dapat diterapkan sebagai strategi pelatihan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan performa kapasitas anaerobik atlet bola voli Pantai.

    ABSTRACT

    Optimal anaerobic capacity is crucial in beach volleyball as the sport requires repeated explosive movements within short durations. However, developing effective training strategies to enhance anaerobic capacity in female beach volleyball athletes remains a challenge. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model in improving anaerobic capacity performance through a structured training periodization. The research employed a post-test only control group design, involving 12 female athletes divided into two groups: the experimental group, which underwent the OPT intervention for 20 weeks with a frequency of three sessions per week, and the control group, which followed a conventional training model. Anaerobic capacity was measured using the Running-based Anaerobic Sprint Test (RAST-Test). The results revealed a significant improvement in anaerobic capacity performance in the experimental group compared to the control group. Data analysis was conducted using an independent t-test in SPSS 22 to determine the difference in anaerobic capacity between the two groups after the intervention. The findings showed a statistically significant difference (Sig = 0.00 < 0.05), indicating that OPT is more effective than conventional training in enhancing anaerobic capacity in beach volleyball athletes. These findings suggest that OPT can be implemented as an effective training strategy to improve anaerobic performance in beach volleyball athletes, contributing to better physical readiness for competitive demands in the sport.
