Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain praktikum fisika berbasis Collaborative Problem Solving Laboratory (CPSL) untuk meningkatkan karakter kreatif mahasiswa. Desain ini mengintegrasikan elemen kolaborasi, pemecahan masalah, dan karakter kreatif melalui tahapan pra-laboratorium, laboratorium, dan pasca-laboratorium. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ADDIE. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain CPSL efektif dalam memperkuat karakter kreatif mahasiswa pada dimensi process, person, dan press. Pada dimensi process, peningkatan terlihat pada semua indikator kreativitas (fluency, flexibility, elaboration, dan originality), dengan skor tertinggi pada elaboration. Pada dimensi person, nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,56 dengan kategori sedang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, terutama pada aspek keberanian mengambil risiko dan kemampuan merespons tantangan dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,67 kategori sedang. Dimensi press menunjukkan N-Gain rata-rata sebesar 0,78 dengan kategori tinggi. Uji statistik menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara skor pre-test dan post-test (p < 0,001), dengan efek besar pada dimensi person (Cohen’s d = -5,90) dan press (Cohen’s d = -6,30). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, praktikum fisika dengan desain berbasis CPSL terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat karakter kreatif mahasiswa. Mahasiswa juga memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap implementasi desain ini, menyatakan bahwa CPSL mendukung eksplorasi ide-ide kreatif serta pengembangan kemampuan kolaboratif mereka.
This research aims to develop a physics practicum design based on Collaborative Problem Solving Laboratory (CPSL) to strengthen students' creative character. This design integrates elements of collaboration, problem solving, and strengthening creative character through pre-laboratory, laboratory, and post-laboratory stages. The research method used is mixedmethods convergent parallel, with procedures including the preparation stage (field studies, literature studies, design design, and limited trials), the implementation stage (design implementation), and the interpretation stage (analysis of results). The research subjects were 20 students of Physics Education study programme, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University. The results showed that the CPSL design was effective in strengthening students' creative character in the process, person, and press dimensions. In the process dimension, the improvement was seen in all creativity indicators (fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and originality), with the highest score in elaboration. In the person dimension, the N-Gain value of 0.56 with a medium category showed a significant increase, especially in the aspect of courage to take risks and the ability to respond to challenges with an N-Gain of 0.67 in the medium category. The press dimension shows an average N-Gain of 0.78 with a high category. Statistical tests showed significant differences between pre-test and post-test scores (p < 0.001), with large effects on the person(Cohen's d = -5.90) and press(Cohen's d = -2.18) dimensions. Based on the results of data analysis, physics practicum using CPSL-based design proved effective in strengthening students' creative character. Students gave positive responses to this practicum design, stating that the CPSL design supports the exploration of creative ideas and the development of collaborative abilities.
