Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media interaktif ClassPoint, menilai respons peserta didik terhadap media tersebut, mengukur kemampuan kognitif peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia, serta mengetahui peran media interaktif ClassPoint dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, jenis quasi-experimental design non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 28 peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dan 28 peserta didik pada kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan media interaktif ClassPoint berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. Nilai sig. uji independent sample t-test sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil tes peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya perlakuan. Sedangkan perhitungan gain score sebesar 50%, yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, media interaktif ClassPoint dinyatakan efektif untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran guna meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. Selain itu, media ini dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dan integrasi peserta didik ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar media interaktif berbasis teknologi seperti ClassPoint digunakan sebagai pengganti pengajaran di kelas secara tradisional.
This study intends to measure students' cognitive abilities before and after treatment on the material of the human respiratory system, analyze how learning is implemented using ClassPoint interactive media, evaluate students' reactions to the media, and ascertain how ClassPoint interactive media contributes to the cognitive development of fifth-grade elementary school students. This study included a non-equivalent control group design, a quasi-experimental design, and a quantitative approach with experimental methodologies. There were 28 pupils in the experimental class and another 28 in the control class, making up the research sample. The findings demonstrated that using ClassPoint interactive media to teach greatly enhanced students' cognitive capacities. Students' test results before and after treatment differ significantly, as indicated by the independent sample t-test's sig. value of 0.001 <0.05. However, the gain score of 50%, which falls into the moderate group, is calculated. As a result, it has been determined that using ClassPoint interactive media to enhance students' cognitive skills is beneficial. Additionally, learners' active engagement and incorporation into the learning process can be enhanced by this media. As a result, it is advised that traditional classroom instruction be replaced with technology-based interactive materials like ClassPoint.
