    Abstract

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini secara umum untuk menganalisis konten reels Instagram @adelianurhaliza dalam membangun persepsi orang tua terhadap profesi guru SD yang dirumuskan ke dalam tiga bentuk rumusan masalah dengan berfokus pada (1) tema-tema konten reels tentang profesi guru SD yang ditampilkan dalam akun Instagram @adelianurhaliza?, (2) proses penyampaian pesan oleh pemilik akun dalam konten reelsnya, (3) persepsi orang tua terhadap profesi guru SD. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, desain etnografi. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan secara triangulasi yakni analisis konten, wawancara dengan pemilik akun, dan penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan ada tiga tema konten seputar profesi guru SD yang mendominasi selama periode analisis yakni tema kegiatan pembelajaran, interaksi guru dan siswa, serta tantangan yang dihadapi guru. Berdasarkan data kuesioner didapatkan hasil bahwa tema kegiatan pembelajaran dan interaksi guru menjadi tema yang dianggap menarik oleh para partisipan. Selanjutnya, hasil wawancara menyoroti tentang proses yang dilalui pemilik akun dalam menjadikan konten-kontennya sebagai sarana edukasi tentang profesi guru SD, dan didapatkan hasil akhir bahwa konten reels Instagram mampu membangun persepsi orang tua terhadap profesi guru SD. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan media sosial oleh seorang guru SD dengan menghadirkan konten-konten positif dan relevan, dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan apresiasi dari para orang tua terhadap profesi guru SD, sehingga penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan literatur tambahan dalam memahami persepsi orang tua sekaligus pengembangan profesi guru SD di era digital.

    This research aims to analyze the Instagram Reel content of @adelianurhaliza in shaping parental perceptions of the elementary school teaching profession. This overarching aim is formulated into three research questions focusing on: (1) the content themes of Reels about the elementary school teaching profession featured on the @adelianurhaliza Instagram account; (2) the message delivery process employed by the account owner in their Reels content; and (3) parental perceptions of the elementary school teaching profession. This research employs a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design. Data was collected through triangulation: content analysis, interviews with the account owner, and questionnaire distribution. The results reveal three dominant content themes surrounding the elementary school teaching profession during the analysis period: learning activities, teacher-student interaction, and challenges faced by teachers. Questionnaire data indicates that the participants considered the learning activities and teacher interaction themes appealing. Furthermore, interview results highlight the process undertaken by the account owner in utilizing their content as an educational tool about the elementary school teaching profession, ultimately demonstrating that Instagram Reel content can shape parental perceptions of this profession. This research concludes that the utilization of social media by an elementary school teacher by presenting positive and relevant content can positively impact increasing parental appreciation for the elementary school teaching profession. Consequently, this research can serve as additional literature for understanding parental perceptions while also contributing to the development of the elementary school teaching profession in the digital age.
