Abstract
Penelitian ini mengembangkan bahan ajar teks Bahasa Indonesia berbasis budaya Jawa Barat untuk peserta didik SD Fase C dalam bentuk buku teks pendamping e-book. Minimnya bahan ajar yang merepresentasikan budaya lokal dalam buku paket yang digunakan sekolah menjadi latar belakang utama penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).
Buku teks pendamping e-book ini dirancang selaras dengan Kurikulum Merdeka dan mendukung peningkatan literasi peserta didik melalui berbagai jenis teks, yaitu teks biografi, narasi, deskripsi dan prosedur yang mengandung bacaan tema budaya Jawa Barat. Buku ini terdiri dari 80 teks dilengkapi dengan 400 soal latihan AKM literasi level 3 berbasis digital, ilustrasi visual, animasi, video pembelajaran, puzzle, riwayat penyimpanan, forum diskusi dan QR code untuk memperkaya pengalaman belajar peserta didik.
Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar ini memiliki tingkat validitas tinggi dalam aspek isi, kebahasaan, dan penyajian. Implementasi metode evaluasi satu-satu di tiga daerah sekolah dasar Jawa Barat dengan melibatkan 36 peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman membaca dan minat belajar peserta didik terhadap teks berbasis budaya lokal. Respon guru dan peserta didik positif, terutama dalam aspek keterbacaan, daya tarik, dan keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar yang kontekstual dan mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pengembangan lebih lanjut bahan ajar berbasis budaya lokal guna mendukung pelestarian budaya lokal melalui pendidikan.

This research develops Indonesian language teaching materials based on West Java culture for elementary school Phase C students in the form of a companion e-book. The main background of this research is the lack of teaching materials representing local culture in the textbooks used by schools. The development model used in this study is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).
The companion e-book is designed in alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum and supports students' literacy improvement through various text types, including biography, narrative, descriptive, and procedural texts containing cultural themes of West Java. The book consists of 80 texts accompanied by 400 AKM literacy level 3 exercises in digital format, visual illustrations, animations, educational videos, puzzles, storage history, discussion forums, and QR codes to enrich students' learning experiences.
Expert validation results indicate a high level of validity in terms of content, language, and presentation. The implementation of one-on-one evaluation in three elementary schools in West Java, involving 36 students, showed that this teaching material effectively enhances students' reading comprehension and interest in culturally based texts. Teachers and students responded positively, particularly regarding readability, attractiveness, and active engagement in learning.
The findings of this study conclude that the developed teaching material is feasible as a contextual learning resource and supports the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The implication of this research is the need for further development of teaching materials based on local culture to support cultural preservation through education.
