Abstract
Adanya kebijakan MBKM yang menghadirkan program magang/praktik kerja MSIB, menjadi daya tarik sekaligus kesempatan untuk merasakan pembelajaran secara langsung di dunia kerja. Sebagai mahasiswa calon guru kesempatan ini dapat dijadikan peluang untuk mengasah dan mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik sebagai sebuah kemampuan dalam mengelola pembelajaran melalui pengalaman magang sebagai investasi bekal kerja. Fenomena beragamnya mitra dan posisi magang mahasiswa PGSD menyebabkan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk menggali lebih dalam keselarasan antara pengalaman magang mahasiswa PGSD di berbagai mitra dan posisi magang yang beragam dengan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi fenomenologis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu, wawancara semi-terstruktur kepada 17 orang informan dan dokumentasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mitra dan posisi magang berpengaruh terhadap keselarasan antara pengalaman magang dengan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik. Sebanyak 11 mahasiswa PGSD magang di mitra bidang pendidikan dan 6 lainnya magang di mitra non pendidikan. Posisi magang dari 11 mahasiswa magang di mitra pendidikan dan 1 mahasiswa magang di mitra non pendidikan ditemukan keselarasan antara pengalaman magang dengan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik. Sedangkan posisi magang dari 5 mahasiswa magang di mitra non pendidikan ditemukan ketidakselarasan antara pengalaman magang dengan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik. Keselarasan antara pengalaman magang dengan kompetensi pedagogik berpengaruh terhadap penguasaan aspek- aspek kompetensi pedagogik seperti, pemahaman landasan kependidikan, pemahaman karakteristik peserta didik, pengembangan kurikulum, perancangan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mendidik dan dialogis, pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran, evaluasi hasil belajar, dan memfasilitasi potensi peserta didik. Dengan demikian, pengalaman magang dapat membantu mempersiapkan mahasiswa sebagai calon guru.
The existence of the MBKM policy which presents the MSIB internship/work practice program, is an attraction as well as an opportunity to experience learning directly in the world of work. As prospective teacher student, this opportunity can be used as an opportunity to hone and develop pedagogical competence as an ability to manage learning through internship experience as an investment in work provision. The phenomenon of the variety of partners and internship positions of PGSD students led to this research to explore more deeply the alignment between the internship experience of students in various partners and various internship positions with the development of pedagogical competence. The research used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study research design. The data collection techniques used were semi-structured interviews with 17 informants and documentation. The findings show that internship partners and positions have an effect on the alignment between internship experiences and pedagogical competency development. A total of 11 PGSD students interned at partners in the field of education and 6 others interned at non-education partners. The internship position of 11 internship students in educational partners and 1 internship student in non-educational partners found alignment between internship experience and pedagogical competency development. While the internship positions of the 5 internship students at non-education partners were found to be misaligned between internship experiences and pedagogical competency development. The alignment between internship experience and pedagogical competence affects the mastery of aspects of pedagogical competence such as understanding the educational foundation, understanding the characteristics of students, developing curriculum, designing learning, implementing educational and dialogical learning, utilizing learning technology, evaluating learning outcomes, and facilitating students’ potential. Thus, the internship experience can help prepare students as prospective teachers.
