Abstract

ABSTRAK
Dalam era modern ini, teknologi memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung pembelajaran bahasa dengan menyediakan berbagai media inovatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi “PORO Belajar Kosakata Bahasa Korea” terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa di SMA BPI 1 Bandung yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bahasa Korea. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest – posttest pada satu kelas yang terdiri dari 20 siswa tingkat dasar. Instrumen penelitian mengukur kemampuan penguasaan kosakata dasar dan angket untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap aplikasi PORO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam penguasaan kosakata siswa setelah menggunakan aplikasi PORO, uji statistik menggunakan paired sample t – test menghasilkan nilai signifikan (p < 0,05) yang menegaskan keefektifan aplikasi ini dalam pembelajaran kosakata. Selain itu, hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa siswa merespons positif penggunaan aplikasi, khususnya pada fitur audio dan visual yang membantu pemahaman kosakata. Aplikasi PORO dikatakan efektif sebagai media pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Korea dan dapat digunakan oleh guru sebagai pendukung proses pembelajaran. Saran diberikan kepada pengajar untuk mengintegrasikan aplikasi ini secara rutin dengan menyediakan panduan rinci agar fitur aplikasi dapat dioptimalkan oleh siswa.

ABSTRACT
In the modern era, technology plays a crucial role in supporting language learning by providing various innovative media to enhance students’ understanding. This study aims to analyze the impact of using the "PORO Vocabulary Learning Korean Language" application on vocabulary mastery among students at SMA BPI 1 Bandung who participate in the Korean language extracurricular program. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design involving one class of 20 beginner-level students. The research instruments include a test to measure basic vocabulary mastery and a questionnaire to assess students’ responses to the PORO application. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery after using the PORO application. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test yielded significant results (p < 0.05), confirming the effectiveness of this application in vocabulary learning. Additionally, the questionnaire results showed that students responded positively to the application, particularly appreciating its audio and visual features that aid vocabulary comprehension. The PORO application proves highly effective as a medium for learning Korean vocabulary and can be utilized by teachers as a supplementary tool in the learning process. Recommendations are given to educators to integrate this application routinely while providing detailed guidance to optimize the application’s features for students.

초록
현대 시대에는 기술이 학생들의 이해를 증진시키기 위해 다양한 혁신적인 매체를 제공함으로써 언어 학습을 지원하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구는 한국어 동아리에 참여하는 SMA BPI 1 반둥 학생들의 어휘 숙달에 "PORO 어휘 학습 한국어" 애플리케이션 사용의 영향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 초급 수준의 학생 20명으로 구성된 한 반을 대상으로 한 그룹 사전-사후 설계의 준실험적 방법을 사용한다. 연구 도구로는 기본 어휘 숙달을 측정하기 위한 테스트와 PORO 애플리케이션에 대한 학생들의 반응을 평가하기 위한 설문지가 포함되었다. 연구 결과에 따라, PORO 애플리케이션 사용 후 학생들의 어휘 숙달에 유의미한 향상이 나타났다. 대응표본 t-검정을 통한 통계 분석 결과, 유의미한 결과(p < 0.05)가 도출되어 어휘 학습에서 본 애플리케이션의 효과가 입증되었다.또한, 학생들은 어휘 이해를 돕는 오디오 및 시각적 기능을 특히 높이 평가하며 애플리케이션에 긍정적으로 반응했다. PORO 애플리케이션은 한국어 어휘 학습을 위한 매우 효과적인 학습 도구로 입증되었으며, 교사가 학습 과정을 보조하기 위한 보조 도구로 활용할 수 있다.본 연구는 교사가 학생들이 애플리케이션의 기능을 최대한 활용할 수 있도록 세부적인 지침을 제공하며 이 애플리케이션을 정기적으로 통합할 것을 축천할 누었다.
