    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pandangan guru mengenai program transisi dari PAUD ke SD. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari tiga guru PAUD dan tiga guru SD dari enam sekolah di Purwakarta. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik grounded theory. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandangan guru menekankan pentingnya kesiapan akademik, sosial emosional, dan belajar anak dalam menghadapi transisi PAUD ke SD. Selain itu, kebijakan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru yang tidak mengharuskan tes calistung, serta kebijakan Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah selama dua minggu, dianggap membantu dalam proses transisi. Kerjasama yang dilakukan oleh guru PAUD dan SD untuk kesinambungan pembelajaran sangat penting agar anak dapat mengalami transisi yang menyenangkan antara kedua jenjang pendidikan. Dengan kolaborasi tersebut, kedua belah pihak dapat berbagi informasi tentang pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan, serta memahami kebutuhan dan karakteristik anak. Tantangan yang dihadapi termasuk perbedaan karakteristik individu anak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa para guru
    memandang program transisi sangat penting untuk membantu anak beradaptasi dengan lingkungan belajar yang lebih formal serta memastikan adanya pembelajaran yang berkesinambungan di masa fase pondasi pada anak. Penelitian
    ini juga menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan orang tua dalam memastikan kelancaran program transisi dari PAUD ke SD, agar anak dapat mengalami proses peralihan yang menyenangkan. Dukungan dari sekolah dan
    orang tua sangat penting untuk memfasilitasi transisi yang lancar, dan program yang terstruktur dapat mengurangi kecemasan serta memperlancar adaptasi anak di SD.

    This study aims to explore teachers' perspectives on the transition program from Early Childhood Education (ECE) to Elementary School (ES). The research method is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research participants consisted of three ECE teachers and three ES teachers from six schools in Purwakarta. The data was
    analyzed using grounded theory techniques. The results show that teachers emphasize the importance of academic, social-emotional, and learning readiness for children in facing the transition from ECE to ES. Furthermore, the New Student
    Admission policy, which does not require literacy and numeracy tests, as well as the two-week School Environment Introduction policy, are considered helpful in this transition process. The collaboration between ECE and ES teachers for continuity in learning is essential so that children can enjoy a smooth transition between the two educational levels. With this collaboration, both parties can share information about the learning approaches used and understand the needs and characteristics of the children. Challenges faced include differences in individual children's characteristics. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that teachers view the
    transition program as crucial for helping children adapt to a more formal learning environment and ensuring continuity in learning during the foundational phase. This research also highlights the importance of collaboration between teachers,
    schools, and parents in ensuring the smooth transition program from ECE to ES, so that children can have a pleasant transition experience. Support from schools
    and parents is vital to facilitate a smooth transition, and a structured program can reduce anxiety and ease children's adaptation to ES.
