Abstract

Penelitian ini melatar belakangi adanya permasalahan di TK PGRI Tunas Harapan Kab. Tasikmalaya, Dimana anak usia 4-5 tahun masih memiliki percaya diri yang rendah dan memiliki media pembelajaran yang belum digunakan pada saat proses pembelajaran. Untuk itu peneliti memiliki solusi diterapkannya metode bercerita dengan media audiovisual untuk meningkatkan percaya diri anak usai 4-5 tahun. Dari latar belakang masalah tersebut, maka rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana percaya diri anak sebelum diterapkan metode bercerita dengan media audiovisual, bagaimana percaya diri anak sesudah diterapkan metode bercerita dengan media audiovisual, dan adakah pengaruh metode bercerita dengan media audiovisual terhadap percaya diri anak usia 4-5 tahun. Sesuai dengan rumusan masalah tersebut, maka tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui percaya diri anak sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan metode bercerita dengan media audiovisual dan mengetahui berpengaruh tidaknya metode bercerita dengan media audiovisual terhadap percaya diri anak usia 4-5 tahu di Tk PGRI Tunas Harapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pendekatan eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test post-test desain. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Setelah melakukan analisis data diperoleh bahwa terdapat adanya peningkatan dinilai dari rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 17,25 dan post-test sebesar 28,37 yang menunjukan kenaikan hasil. Melalui penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan metode bercerita dengan media audiovisual dapat meningkatkan percaya diri anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK PGRI Tunas Harapan. This research is based on the existence of problems at the PGRI Tunas Harapan Kindergarten, Kab. Tasikmalaya, where children aged 4-5 years still have low self-confidence and have learning media that have not been used during the learning process. For this reason, researchers have a solution for implementing the storytelling method using audiovisual media to increase the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years. From the background of this problem, the formulation of the problem in this research is how confident children are before applying the storytelling method using audiovisual media, how confident children are after implementing the storytelling method using audiovisual media, and is there an influence of the storytelling method using audiovisual media on the self-confidence of older children? 4-5 years. In accordance with the formulation of the problem, the aim of this research is to determine children's self-confidence before and after the application of the storytelling method using audiovisual media and to determine whether or not the storytelling method using audiovisual media has an effect on the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years old at PGRI Tunas Harapan Kindergarten. This research uses an experimental method with a one group pre-test post-test research design. Data collection in this research used observation and documentation sheets. After analyzing the data, it was found that there was an increase in the average pre-test score of 17.25 and post-test of 28.37, which showed an increase in results. This research shows that the use of storytelling methods using audiovisual media can increase the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years at PGRI Tunas Harapan Kindergarten.
