Abstract
Isu kesiapan karir telah menjadi fokus utama dalam pendidikan, terutama dalam menghadapi kemajuan teknologi, globalisasi, dan peralihan ke era VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity). Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan bimbingan adaptabilitas karir yang teruji efektif dalam mengembangkan kesiapan karir siswa. Landasan teori yang digunakan adalah teori adaptabilitas karir dan kesiapan karir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain single subject experiments. Survei dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kesiapan karir pada 376 siswa kelas XI SMK di Kecamatan Cisurupan, yang terdiri 212 laki-laki dan 164 perempuan. Instrumen kesiapan karir yang digunakan merupakan hasil sintesis teori kesiapan karir yang dikemukakan oleh Donald Super, John Holland, dan Mark L Savickas, mencakup 7 aspek dan 36 pernyataan. Setelah survei awal dilakukan, teknik purposive sampling diterapkan sehingga terpilih 13 siswa dengan skor kesiapan karir terendah untuk diberikan intervensi bimbingan adaptabilitas karir. Perhitungan efektivitas bimbingan adaptabilitas karir menggunakan T-test menunjukkan nilai 0,00, yang berarti p-value < 0,05 yang mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Hasil penelitian berupa bukti empirik efektivitas bimbingan adaptabilitas karir dalam mengembangkan kesiapan karir siswa. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan agar sekolah mengintegrasikan bimbingan adaptabilitas karir ke dalam kurikulum secara sistematis. Selain itu, penting bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling untuk terus memperbarui keterampilan terkait pengembangan karir siswa. Langkah ini akan memperkaya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam memberikan bimbingan yang efektif, sehingga mendukung keberhasilan program secara keseluruhan. The issue of career readiness has become a major focus in education, especially in the face of technological advances, globalization, and the transition to the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) era. This research aims to produce career adaptability guidance that is proven effective in developing students' career readiness. The theoretical basis used is the theory of career adaptability and career readiness. This study used a quantitative approach with a single subject experiments design. The survey was conducted by distributing career readiness questionnaires to 376 grade XI students of vocational schools in Cisurupan District, consisting of 212 males and 164 females. The career readiness instrument used is the result of the synthesis of career readiness theory proposed by Donald Super, John Holland, and Mark L Savickas, including 7 aspects and 36 statements. After the initial survey was conducted, purposive sampling technique was applied so that 13 students with the lowest career readiness score were selected to be given career adaptability guidance intervention. The calculation of the effectiveness of career adaptability guidance using the T-test shows a value of 0.00, which means the p-value <0.05, indicating that there is a significant difference. The results of the study are empirical evidence of the effectiveness of career adaptability guidance in developing students' career readiness. Based on these findings, it is recommended that schools integrate career adaptability guidance into the curriculum systematically. In addition, it is important for guidance and counseling teachers to continuously update skills related to student career development. This will enrich their knowledge and skills in providing effective guidance, thus supporting the overall success of the program.
