Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya keterampilan berbicara siswa di SDN 074 Ayudia kota Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah metode mendongeng berbasis animasi ini efektif terhadap keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa fase B. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pre eksperimen. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest.Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 24 siswa yang ditetapkan dengan menggunakan stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan teknik pengelohan data menggunakan perhitungan uji Wilcoxon dan uji N-Gain. Perolehan dari penelitian ini ialah rata- rata pretest sebesar 48,75 sedangkan posttest sebesar 82. Hal ini menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan sebesar 33,25. Hasil analisis data dengan uji T-test memperoleh p-value (0,002 dan < 0,001) lebih kecil dari 0,005 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan terhadap perolehan keterampilan berbicara dengan metode mendongeng berbasis animasi. Selanjutnya, hasil analisis data dengan uji N-Gain ialah 0,667 dan N-Gain persen 66,7%. Hal ini termasuk ke dalam kategori tinggi dan cukup efektif. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode mendongeng terhadap keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan IPAS pada siswa fase B.
This research was motivated by the lack of speaking skills of students at SDN 074 Ayudia, Bandung city. The aim of this research is to find out whether this animation-based storytelling method is effective for speaking skills in learning Indonesian for phase B students. This research is a quantitative research with a pre-experimental method. The experimental design used was one group pretest-posttest. The sample for this research consisted of 24 students who were determined using stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques use tests and data processing techniques use Wilcoxon test calculations and N-Gain tests. The results of thisresearch were that the pretest average was 48.75 while the posttest was 82. This shows an increase of 33.25. The results of data analysis using the T-test obtained a p-value (0.002 and <0.001) smaller than 0.005, which means there is a difference in the acquisition of speaking skills using the animation-based storytelling method. Furthermore, the results of data analysisusing the N-Gain test were 0.667 and the N-Gain percent was 66.7%. This is included in the high category and is quite effective. Based on this description, it can be concluded that the storytelling method affects speaking skills in learning Indonesian and Natural Sciences for phase B students.
