Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari stres dan regulasi diri terhadap prokrastinasi pada mahasiswa pascasarjana yang sedang mengerjakan tesis di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian ini atas 168 responden dengan karakteristik mahasiswa S2 yang sedang mengerjakan tesis di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Stress Scale (Serafino & Smith, 2012), Self Regulation Scale dari Zimmerman (Rozali, 2014), dan Procrastination Assessment Scale-Students (PASS) dari Solomon dan Rothblum (Wirajaya, 2020). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 (<0.05), dengan nilai kontribusi sebesar 67,1%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa stress dan regulasi diri berpengaruh terhadap prokrastinasi mahasiswa pascasarjana yang sedang mengerjakan tesis di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of stress and self-regulation on procrastination in postgraduate students working on theses at the Indonesian Education University. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational design. The sample of this study was 168 respondents with the characteristics of master's students who were working on theses at the Indonesian Education University. The data collected using the Stress Scale questionnaire (Serafino & Smith, 2012), Zimmerman's Self Regulation Scale (Rozali, 2014), and the Procrastination Assessment Scale-Students (PASS) from Solomon and Rothblum (Wirajaya, 2020). The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), with a contribution value of 67.1%. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that stress and self- regulation have an effect on the procrastination of postgraduate students who are working on their thesis at the Indonesian Education University.
