Abstract
Vocational High Schools (SMK) play an important role in developing human resources (HR) who are competent and ready to compete in the world of work, both nationally and globally. The competencies of vocational school graduates must align with industry needs in the 21st century, including 4C Skills. This research aims to apply the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model to fermentation material at SMKN PP Lembang to improve students' 21st-century skills (4C Skills), including communication, collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, and creativity and innovation. The sample in this study was class X-APHP 3 at SMKN PP Lembang, consisting of 35 students. The type of research used was classroom action research (CAR) in two cycles. Data collection was carried out using tests, observations, and assessments of students' creative work. The research results showed an increase in students' communication and collaboration skills, both of which reached the “very good category”. Additionally, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as creativity and innovation, also improved, “reaching the medium” and “creative categories, respectively”.
