Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pembuatan lotion pada topik koloid yang dapat digunakan oleh peserta didik kelas XI Tingkat SMA/MA. Design penelitian yang digunakan adalah educational design research yang dilakukan dalam dua tahap yaitu tahap pendahuluan dan tahap pengembangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA Negeri di kota Bandung dengan melibatkan partisipan 12 orang peserta didik, 5 orang validator yang terdiri dari 2 orang dosen Pendidikan Kimia dan 3 orang guru kimia SMA. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar hasil optimasi, lembar hasil uji kelayakan LKPD, lembar observasi, lembar rubrik penilaian LKPD, dan lembar angket respon peserta didik. LKPD disusun berdasarkan hasil optimasi, saran validator, dan indicator keterampilan inkuiri. Hasil optimasi didapat komposisi optimum emulgator untuk pembuatan lotion adalah menggunakan 2 emulgator yaitu asam stearat 3 gram dan setil alkohol 1 gram. Dengan komposisi tetap fasa minyak yaitu dimethicone 3 gram, mineral oil 1,5 gram, petrolatum 1 gram dan fase air yaitu aquades 89.4 gram, trietanolamin 1.2 gram. Hasil uji kelayakan komponen LKPD praktikum awal, kesesuaian konsep, kelayakan tata Bahasa, dan kelayakan tata letak serta perwajahan dalam kategori sangat baik. Keterlaksanaan praktikum menggunakan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing diperoleh berdasarkan hasil jawaban peserta didik pada LKPD dan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan tahapan inkuiri termasuk dalam kategori baik. Respon peserta didik terhadap praktikum dan LKPD praktikum yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori baik, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD praktikum yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di SMA kelas XI.

This study aims to develop a guided inquiry-based practicum worksheet for making lotion on the topic of colloids that can be used for senior high school in grade XI. The research design used is educational design research which is carried out in two stages, namely the preliminary stage and the development stage. This research was conducted in one of the State Senior High Schools in Bandung city involving 12 students, 5 validators consisting of 2 Chemistry Education lecturers and 3 high school chemistry teachers. The research instruments used were optimization result sheets, LKPD feasibility test result sheets, observation sheets, LKPD assessment rubric sheets, and student response questionnaire sheets. LKPD is compiled based on optimization results, validator suggestions, and inquiry skill indicators. The optimization results obtained the optimum composition of the emulsifier for making lotion using 2 emulsifiers, namely 3 grams of stearic acid and 1 gram of cetyl. With a fixed composition of the oil phase, namely 3 grams of dimethicone, 1.5 grams of mineral oil, 1 gram of petrolatum and the water phase, namely 89.4 grams of distilled water, 1.2 grams of triethanolamine. The results of the feasibility test of the initial practicum LKPD components, the suitability of the concept, the feasibility of grammar, and the feasibility of the layout and appearance are in the very good category. The implementation of the practicum using LKPD based on guided inquiry is obtained based on the results of students' answers to the LKPD and the results of observations of the implementation of the inquiry stages are included in the good category. Students' responses to the practicum and the practicum LKPD developed are included in the good category, so it can be concluded that the practicum LKPD developed is suitable for use as teaching materials in grade XI of high school.
