Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran intertekstual berbasis POGIL (Process-Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) pada materi baterai yang berpotensi meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan KPS siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan lima tahap awal, yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan, uji coba, dan revisi produk. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran intertekstual yang dirancang efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui aktivitas ilmiah yang mendalam dan kolaboratif. Proses pembelajaran ini melibatkan perumusan masalah, pelaksanaan percobaan, serta analisis data, yang mendorong siswa untuk mengaitkan tiga level representasi kimia pada materi baterai. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran intertekstual yang dikembangkan dengan integrasi POGIL dapat efektif dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan sehingga bisa memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sains, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran kimia di sekolah. This study aims to develop an intertextual learning strategy based on POGIL (Process-Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) in the topic of batteries to enhance students' concept mastery and science process skills. The method used is Research and Development (R&D), which includes five initial stages: research and information gathering, planning, product development, product testing, and product revision. The results show that the designed intertextual learning strategy is effective in improving students' understanding and science process skills through in-depth and collaborative scientific activities. This learning process involves problem formulation, experiment execution, and data analysis, which encourages students to connect the three levels of chemical representation in the battery topic. This study concludes that the intertextual learning strategy developed with the integration of POGIL can effectively achieve the intended learning objectives and significantly contribute to enhancing the quality of science education, particularly in the context of chemistry teaching in schools.
