Abstract
The rapid development of information technology in the world today has significantly transformed the educational paradigm by providing space for innovative integration and more engaging learning methods. Educators are required to master and utilize the advancements in technology available to create proficient students who can learn independently and creatively. This research aims to implement the Problem Based Learning model assisted by interactive media Cisco IT Essentials Virtual Dekstop with integrated web-based E-Learning to enhance student learning outcomes in understanding of Computer Systems. This research metolodogy is using Experimental Research with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of experiment includes 10th-grade Compact Vehicle Engineering 1 students at SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. Research findings indicate a favorable response to Cisco IT Essetials Virtual Dekstop E-Learning, with media experts giving an 82% approval rating and subject matter experts giving a 92% rating, both categorized as "Excellent." The utilization of multimedia is proven to be impactful, as demonstrated by a notable rise in post-test scores from 34.86 to 73.43. The average n-gain of 0.59 suggests a "Moderate" level of effectiveness. Students provided positive feedback, with a score of 87%, also classified as "Excellent".
