Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul “Optimalisasi Kompetensi Guru Dalam Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Berbasis Profil Pelajar Pancasila di SMP Negeri 1 Cugenang”. Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan kurikulum yang menjamin dan memperkuat perkembangan kompetensi dan karakter peserta didik, dengan merumuskan profil pelajar Pancasila sebagai visi yang menggambarkan kemampuan siswa Indonesia untuk menjadi pembelajar sepanjang hayat yang memiliki kompetensi global, berkarakter, dan berperilaku sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. SMP Negeri 1 Cugenang berupaya mengatasi masalah penurunan karakter dan motivasi belajar peserta didik pasca gempa dengan melaksanakan penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis profil pelajar Pancasila. Guru menjadi bagian integral dalam penerapan suatu kurikulum. Keberhasilan kurikulum dan pembelajaran termasuk dalam hal mendidik dan membentuk karakter peserta didik secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi guru. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan optimalisasi kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan dimensi profil pelajar Pancasila dalam proses pembelajaran meliputi intrakurikuler, kokurikuler berupa projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila, dan pembiasaan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berdasarkan teori Miles Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu : 1) Pelaksanaan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi; 2) Optimalisasi empat kompetensi utama guru mencakup kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis profil pelajar Pancasila; 3) Hambatan dan tantangan yang dialami guru dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis profil pelajar Pancasila yang berasal dari faktor internal maupun eksternal. This study is titled “Optimization of Teacher Competence in Implementing the Independent Curriculum Based on the Pancasila Student Profile at SMP Negeri 1 Cugenang”. The Independent Curriculum is designed to ensure and enhance the development of students' competencies and character by formulating the Pancasila student profile as a vision that describes the ability of Indonesian students to become lifelong learners with global competencies, strong character, and behavior aligned with the values of Pancasila. SMP Negeri 1 Cugenang tries to overcome the problem of declining character and learning motivation of students after the earthquake by strengthening character education through the implementation of the Independent Curriculum based on the Pancasila student profile. Teachers are an integral part of curriculum implementation. The success of the curriculum and learning, including educating and shaping students' character, is significantly influenced by the tearchers competence. Based on this, the research aims to describe the optimization of teacher competence in integrating the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile into the learning process, including intracurricular activities, co-curricular activities in the form of projects to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile, and school habituation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation study. The data analysis techniques employed are based on Miles and Huberman's theory, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results obtained from this research are: 1) The implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project includes the planning, execution, and evaluation stages; 2) The optimization of four main teacher competencies, which include pedagogical, personal, social, and professional competencies, in the application of the Independent Curriculum based on the Pancasila student profile; 3) The obstacles and challenges faced by teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum based on the Pancasila student profile, which originate from both internal and external factors.
