Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa di SMK Negeri jurusan manajemen perkantoran se-kota Bandung dengan dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan terkait tingginya tingkat pengangguran terbuka (TPT) lulusan SMK dan adanya ketidaksesuaiaan antara tempat pelaksanaan prakerin dengan bidang studi peserta didik. metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan penyebaran kuisioner kepada siswa kelas XII jurusan manajemen perkantoran di SMKN 1 Bandung, SMKN 3 Bandung, dan SMKN 11 Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan WMS (Weight Mean Score), menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri dan kesiapan kerja siswa termasuk pada kategori sangat baik. Namun, masih ditemukan masalah pada aspek penempatan tempat prakerin, dan monitoring oleh guru pembimbing yang berdampak pada penurunan tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji korelasi menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan prakerin berpengaruh kuat terhadap kesiapan kerja. Hasil uji determinasi juga menunjukan bahwa kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII di tempat penelitian dipengaruhi oleh praktik kerja industri sebesar 51,3% dan selebihnya sebesar 48,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Sehingga menghasilkan Kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa jurusan manajemen perkantoran di SMK Negeri se-kota Bandung. This research aims to determine the extent to which the implementation of industrial work practices has had on students' job readiness in State Vocational Schools majoring in office management in the city of Bandung, based on the existence of problems related to the high level of open unemployment (TPT) of vocational school graduates and the existence of a mismatch between the place where the work practice is carried out and the field. student studies. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and distribution of questionnaires to class XII students majoring in office management at SMKN 1 Bandung, SMKN 3 Bandung, and SMKN 11 Bandung. Based on the results of calculations using WMS (Weight Mean Score), it shows that the implementation of industrial work practices and students' work readiness are included in the very good category. However, problems were still found in aspects of internship placement and monitoring by supervising teachers which had an impact on reducing students' work readiness levels. The results of hypothesis testing with correlation tests show that the implementation of internships has a strong influence on work readiness. The results of the determination test also showed that the work readiness of class This results in the conclusion that there is a positive and significant influence from the implementation of industrial work practices on the work readiness of students majoring in office management at State Vocational Schools throughout the city of Bandung.
