Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL) bermuatan ESD terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan kolaborasi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif quasi experimental dengan desain non-equivalent control grup. Sejumlah mahasiswa semester IV Pendidikan Biologi di sebuah PTN di Kota Palembang, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, terlibat sebagai grup perlakuan (n1=29) dan sebagai pembanding (n2= 23) pada mata kuliah Taksonomi Tumbuhan Berpembuluh. Lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, soal essai berbasis kasus terkait keanekaragaman tumbuhan yang ada di sekitar, kuesioner, dan wawancara untuk mengetahui tanggapan dosen dan mahasiswa kelompok eksperimen yang dikembangkan sendiri dan digunakan sebagai instrumen pengumpul data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa sudah terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok mahasiswa eksperimen dan kontrol pada keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan kolaborasi. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL bermuatan ESD dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan kolaborasi mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil N-Gain yang telah diperoleh dari kedua keterampilan tersebut, PjBL bermuatan ESD lebih berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dari pada keterampilan kolaborasi, karena N-Gain dengan kategori tinggi paling banyak diperoleh dari hasil keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Tanggapan dosen dan mahasiswa setelah melakukan pembelajaran menggunakan PjBL bermuatan ESD sangat positif. Mahasiswa diajak untuk mengamati lingkungan sekitar, menganalisis masalah-masalah nyata, sehingga mahasiswa merasakan pengalaman yang berbeda, pembelajaran aktif dan suasana pembelajaran baru. Selain itu PjBL bermuatan ESD menumbuhkan motivasi belajar, mahasiswa belajar bertanggung jawab, mengembangkan komunikasi, sikap saling menghargai, dan mahasiswa dapat lebih mengenal dan memahami nilai-nilai ESD seperti nilai ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan. Kata Kunci: Project based learning (PjBL) bermuatan ESD, Berpikir Kreatif, Kolaborasi This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the ESD-based project-based learning (PjBL) model on students' creative thinking and collaboration skills. This study is a quasi-experimental quantitative study with a non-equivalent control group design. A number of fourth-semester Biology Education students at a State University in Palembang City, South Sumatra Province, were involved as a treatment group (n1=29) and as a comparison group (n2=23) in the Vascular Plant Taxonomy course. Implementation observation sheets, case-based essay questions related to plant diversity in the surrounding area, questionnaires, and interviews to determine the responses of lecturers and students in the experimental group were developed independently and used as data collection instruments. The results of the study showed that the implementation of learning carried out by lecturers and students had been carried out very well. There was a significant difference between the experimental and control student groups in creative thinking and collaboration skills. This shows that the implementation of ESD-based PjBL can improve students' creative thinking and collaboration skills. Based on the N-Gain results obtained from both skills, ESD-based PjBL has a greater influence in improving students' creative thinking skills than collaboration skills, because N-Gain with a high category is mostly obtained from the results of creative thinking skills. The responses of lecturers and students after learning using ESD-based PjBL are very positive. Students are invited to observe the surrounding environment, analyze real problems, so that students feel different experiences, active learning and a new learning atmosphere. In addition, ESD-based PjBL fosters learning motivation, students learn to be responsible, develop communication, mutual respect, and students can better recognize and understand ESD values such as economic, social and environmental values.
