    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti terhadap
    kecerdasan musikal anak kelas A dan B, dengan fokus pada kegiatan
    ekstrakurikuler drumband di PAUD Al-Qur’an Hidayatullah Cilegon. Tujuan dari
    penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aspek kecerdasan musikal pada anak-anak
    yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler drumband. Metode yang digunakan adalah
    kualitatif deskriptif, yang akan menggambarkan kecerdasan musikal anak usia 4-6
    tahun yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler drumband sebanyak 27 anak. Data
    dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian
    ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas anak-anak di PAUD Al-Qur’an Hidayatullah
    Cilegon dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler drumband menunjukkan adanya lima aspek
    kecerdasan musikal dasar: kemampuan mendengar dan mengenali nada,
    kemampuan mengingat melodi dan ritme, sensitivitas terhadap irama dan tempo,
    sensitivitas terhadap timbre (warna sura), serta kemampuan menyusun musik.
    Secara keseluruhan, anak-anak menunjukkan kemampuan musikal yang baik. Oleh
    karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan frekuensi dan kualitas bimbingan bagi anak�anak untuk berlatih musik secara intensif. Hasil ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar
    untuk merancang program pendidikan musik yang lebih sesuai dengan minat dan
    kemampuan anak-anak.

    This research was motivated by the researcher's interest in the musical
    intelligence of class A and B children, with a focus on drumband extracurricular
    activities at PAUD Al-Qur'an Hidayatullah Cilegon. The aim of this research is to
    determine aspect of musical intelligence in children who take part in drumband
    extracurricular activities. The method used is descriptive qualitative, which will
    describe the musical intelligence of 27 children aged 4-6 years who took part in
    drumband extracurricular activities. Data was collected through observation,
    interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the majority
    of children at PAUD Al-Qur'an Hidayatullah Cilegon in drumband extracurricular
    activities show five aspects of basic musical intelligence: the ability to hear and
    recognize notes, the ability to remember melody and rhythm, sensitivity to rhythm
    and tempo, sensitivity regarding timbre (sound color), as well as the ability to
    compose music. Overall, the children demonstrated good musical abilities.
    Therefore, it is necessary to increase the frequency and quality of guidance for
    children to practice music intensively. These results can be used as a basis for
    designing music education programs that better suit children's interests and
