Abstract

Sustainable diet merupakan pola makan yang bertumpu pada nilai-nilai keberlanjutan karena mempertimbangkan aspek ekologis, sosio-ekonomi, dan kesehatan. Penerapan sustainable diet eksis pula di tengah masyarakat lokal Indonesia tepatnya di Kampung Adat Cireundeu, Kota Cimahi. Masyarakat kampung ini menjadikan beras singkong sebagai panganan pokok mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi sustainable diet masyarakat Kampung Adat Cireundeu, pemanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran IPS, serta upaya pelestariannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi kepustakaan serta dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kearifan lokal mengonsumsi beras singkong mengandung elemen-elemen sustainable diet. Pemanfaatan sustainable diet sebagai sumber belajar IPS masyarakat Kampung Adat Cireundeu dapat ditinjau dari relevansinya dengan tema dan tradisi Pendidikan IPS serta menjadi opsi upaya menumbuhkan keterampilan literasi pangan dalam pembelajaran IPS. Sustainable diet masyarakat Kampung Adat Cireundeu pula dapat dimanfaatkan dalam beberapa tema atau materi IPS yang relevan seperti Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan, Pemanfaatan Sumber Daya Alam, Aktivitas Kegiatan Ekonomi, Kearifan Lokal, dan Kebijakan Ekonomi di Masa Kolonialisme. Analisis kendala dalam pemanfaatan sustainable diet masyarakat Kampung Adat Cireundeu dapat ditinjau dari aspek pendekatan pembelajaran, aksesibilitas, penguasaan food pedagogy, dan proses internalisasi. Kendala-kendala ini dapat disiasati dengan perencanaan pembelajaran kreatif, kebersediaan guru mengeksplorasi isu pangan, dan peran literasi media dalam merespons isu pangan di era konsumerisme. Berbagai upaya dilakukan masyarakat Kampung Adat Cireundeu untuk mempertahankan sustainable diet mengonsumsi beras singkong. Kesimpulannya, Sustainable Diet Masyarakat Kampung Adat Cireundeu sangat relevan apabila dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar IPS. A sustainable diet is a dietary approach that prioritizes sustainability by taking into account ecological, socio-economic, and health factors. Sustainable diets are being implemented in Cireundeu Village, Cimahi City because the inhabitants have been utilizing cassava rice as their staple food. The study seeks to examine the sustainable diet conditions in the village of Cireundeu, their integration with social studies learning, and the conservation initiatives undertaken. The study employs descriptive qualitative methodologies, utilizing data-gathering methods such as observations, interviews, and library research. The data is analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that the local wisdom of consuming cassava rice contains elements of a sustainable diet. Utilizing this learning resource can be relevant to social studies themes and traditions, and it can help foster food literacy skills in social studies learning. The sustainable diet of the Cireundeu Traditional Village can be incorporated into various social studies themes or materials such as Sustainable Development Goals, Utilization of Natural Resources, Economic Activities, Local Wisdom, and Economic Policy in the Colonial Period. The obstacles to utilizing this learning resource can be viewed from the aspects of the learning approach, accessibility, mastery of food pedagogy, and the internalization process and can be overcome with creative learning planning, teachers' willingness to explore food issues, and the role of media literacy in addressing food issues in the era of consumerism. Various efforts have been made by the Cireundeu Traditional Village community to maintain their sustainable diet by consuming cassava rice.
