Abstract

Selama masa pandemi Covid-19 minat wisatawan terhadap berwisata berubah salah satunya adalah berwisata di alam atau outdoor. Hal inisejalan dengan pilihan wisatawan yang berubah. Taman Hutan Raya Djuanda adalah salah satu taman hutan raya yang dikelola langsung oleh Perhutani, jumlah kunjungan pada tahun 2022 terus mengalami kenaikan karena minat wisatawan berwisata tinggi setelah pembatasan pandemi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis karakteristik wisatawan, menganalisis potensi dan mengetahui nilai edukasi yang didapatkan wisatawan umum. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengkaji fungsi wisata edukasi dari potensi dan nilai edukasi Taman Hutan Raya Djuanda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, pengambilan sampel secara accsidental sampling dengan jumlah responden 200 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuisioner, observasi lapangan, studi literature, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan yaitu analisis persentase, skala Guttman dan skoring. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Taman Hutan Raya Djuanda masuk kedalam kategori potensial untuk dikembangkan menjadi wisata edukasi, dengan aspek event wisata yang kurang disosialisasikan dan zona-zona edukasi yang kurang maksimal. Dalam aspek sosial ekonomi, karakteristik wisatawan yang berkunjung didominasi oleh usia muda dan pendidikan terakhir SMA dan Perguruan tinggi dengan profesi pegawai swasta atau ibu rumah tangga dengan tujuan nya rekreasi. Nilai edukasi yang didapatkan oleh wisatawan adalah aspek pengetahuan 71%, pengalaman 86% dan keterampilan 65%. During the Covid-19 pandemic, tourists' interest in traveling changed, one of which was traveling in nature or outdoors. This is in line with the changing preferences of travelers. Djuanda Forest Park is one of the grand forest parks that is managed directly by Perhutani, the number of visits in 2022 continues to increase due to high tourist interest in traveling after the pandemic restrictions. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of tourists, analyze the potential and determine the educational value obtained by general tourists. This study also aims to examine the function of educational tourism from the potential and educational value of the Djuanda Grand Forest Park. The research method used is a descriptive survey with a mix method approach, sampling by accidental sampling with a total of 200 respondents. Data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires, field observations, literature studies, and documentation. Data processing techniques used are percentage analysis, Guttman scale, and scoring. The results showed that the Djuanda Forest Park was included in the potential category to be developed into educational tourism, with aspects of tourism events that were not socialized enough and educational zones that were not optimal. In the socio-economic aspect, the characteristics of visiting tourists are dominated by young people and recent education from high school and university with the profession of private employees or housewives with the goal of recreation. The educational value obtained by tourists is the aspect of knowledge 71%, experience 86% and skills 65%.
