Abstract

Rengginang oyek atau RO merupakan makanan kudapan khas tanah sunda atau Jawa Barat. Tujuan dari
penelitian ini untuk membuat modifikasi rengginang oyek supaya dapat menjadi oleh-oleh unggulan khas
Lembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, serta studi literatur dan dokumen.
Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa modifikasi rengginang dengan penambahan rasa dapat diterima
oleh masyarakat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa rengginang oyek ini berpotensi
menjadi oleh-oleh gastronomi unggulan khas Kampung Pasir Ipis, Lembang. Pemerintah, pelaku usaha, serta
masyarakat Desa Jayagir diharapkan dapat bekerjasama secara sinergis dalam pengembangan rengginang
oyek khas Kampung Pasir Ipissehingga mampu didaftarkan dan dipublikasikan secara resmi sebagai produk
unggulan gastronomi khas Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat.

Rengginang oyek or RO is a typical snack food of Sundanese or West Javanese land. The purpose
of this study is to make modifications to the rengginang oyek so that it can become a typical
souvenir of Lembang. This research uses experimental methods with qualitative and quantitative
approaches. Data collection was conducted by in-depth interviews, observations, and literature
and document studies. The results of this study revealed that the modification of rengginang with
the addition of flavours can be accepted by the community. Based on this, it can be concluded that
this rengginang oyek has the potential to become a superior gastronomic souvenir typical of Pasir
Ipis Village, Lembang. The government, business actors, and the people of Jayagiri Village are
expected to work together synergistically in the development of the typical rengginang oyek of
Pasir Ipis Village so that it can be officially registered and published as a superior gastronomic
product typical of Lembang, West Bandung Regency
