    Abstract

    Penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai upaya meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak usia dini melalui kegiatan messy play. Hal tersebut didasari karena muncul permasalahan motorik halus dimana anak belum bisa melakukan kegiatan koordinasi mata dan tangan dengan baik, serta anak merasa enggan untuk memegang benda yang bertekstur lengket. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu kegiatan pembelajaran yang dapat menstimulasi motorik halus anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak melalui kegiatan messy play. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) pada anak kelompok A di TK Islam Baiturrahim, Kota Tangerang Selatan. Jumlah partisipan penelitian sebanyak 12 anak dengan usia 4-5 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian yang diadaptasi dari Permendikbud Nomor 137 Tahun 2014 pada lingkung perkembangan fisik-motorik bagian motorik halus. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus dengan empat tindakan. Kondisi awal keterampilan motorik halus anak tergolong rendah, yakni 83,3% anak berada dalam kategori Belum Berkembang (BB). Setelah diberikan tindakan kegiatan messy play, keterampilan motorik halus anak mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 83,3% anak berada dalam kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat direkomendasikan bahwa kegiatan messy play dapat digunakan sebagai metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak. This is based on the emergence of fine motor problems where children cannot carry out eye and hand coordination activities well, and children rejected to hold objects with a sticky texture. Therefore, we need a learning activity that can stimulate children's fine motor skills. The aim of this research is to improve children's fine motor skills through messy play activities. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR) on group A children at TK Islam Baiturrahim, South Tangerang City. The number of research participants was 12 children aged 4-5 years old. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Research data was obtained using research instruments adapted from Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 137 of 2014 in the physical-motor development environment of the fine motor section. The study wad conducted in two cycles with four actions. The initial condition of children's fine motor skills is classified as low, namely 83.3% of children are in the Undevelop categoy (BB). After being given messy play activities, children's fine motor skills increased by 83.3% of children who were in the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) category. Based on the results of this study, it can be recommended that messy play activities can be used as an effective learning method to improve children's fine motor skills.
