    Abstract

    Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pengetahuan siswa terhadap kosa
    kata bahasa Sunda, khususnya afiksasi dalam bentuk tulisan. Penelitian ini bertujuan
    untuk mendeskripsikan kata berimbuhan pada cerpen karya pemenang lomba Menulis
    Cerpen, mencakup (1) struktur kata berimbuhan dalam cerpen; (2) fungsi afiksasi dalam
    cerpen; (3) makna afiksasi dalam cerpen; dan (4) alternatif bahan ajar aspek
    kebahasaan kata berimbuhan dalam pembelajaran apresiasi cerpen di SMP. Penelitian
    ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data dalam
    penelitian ini adalah kumpulan cerpen karya pemenang lomba Menulis Cerpen MGMP
    Basa Sunda Tingkat SMP/MTs Se-Kota Bandung pada Tahun 2021 sebanyak dua belas
    cerpen. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik telaah pustaka dan diolah menggunakan
    teknik analisis unsur langsung. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kartu data. Hasil
    analisis dari penelitian ini ditemukan 373 data dengan jumlah frekuensi sebanyak 505
    kali. Struktur kata berimbuhan dibangun dengan 30 imbuhan, setiap imbuhan memiliki
    polanya masing-masing. Imbuhan yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu imbuhan –na
    yang jumlahnya 84 kata. Fungsi afiksasi mencakup fungsi inflektif dan derivatif. Fungsi
    yang paling banyak digunakan dalam cerpen yaitu fungsi inflektif verba pada 18
    imbuhan. Makna afiksasi berpusat pada makna gramatikal, terdapat 53 makna. Makna
    yang paling banyak ditemukan yaitu makna ‗menunjukkan‘ dan ‗dalam keadaan D‘.
    Selanjutnya, salah satu cerpen dijadikan bahan ajar dan dibuat pembahasan tentang kata
    berimbuhan, serta dibuat pula soal latihan untuk evaluasi peserta didik.

    The background of this study is the importance of students' knowledge of Sundanese
    vocabulary, especially affixation in the form of writing. This study aims to describe the
    word affix in the short story by the winner of the Short Story Writing competition,
    including (1) the structure of affix words in short stories; (2) the function of affixation in
    short stories; (3) the meaning of affixation in short stories; and (4) alternative teaching
    materials for linguistic aspects of affix words in learning short story appreciation in
    junior high school. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method.
    The source of data in this study is a collection of short stories by the winners of the
    MGMP Basa Sunda Short Story Writing competition at the Junior High School/MTs
    Level in Bandung City in 2021 as many as twelve short stories. Data was collected using
    literature review techniques and processed using direct element analysis techniques.
    Research instruments use data cards. The results of the analysis of this study found 373
    data with a total frequency of 505 times. The structure of affix words is built with 30
    affixes, each affix has its own pattern. The most widely used affix is the affix –na which
    amounts to 84 words. Affixation functions include both inflective and derivative functions.
    The most widely used function in short stories is the verb inflective function in 18 affixes.
    The meaning of affixation is centered on grammatical meaning, there are 53 meanings.
    The most commonly found meanings are the meanings of 'show' and 'in state D'.
    Furthermore, one of the short stories was used as teaching material and a discussion was
    made about the word affix, and an exercise question was also made for student
    evaluation.
