Abstract
Penggarapan antologi cerpen Elegi Bimantara ini dilatarbelakangi oleh maraknya kasus kekerasan kepada anak yang dilakukan oleh ibu kandung dan semakin pesatnya ditigalisasi yang membuat media sosial menjadi diary online bagi masyarakat. Permasalahan tersebut diketahui terjadi akibat dari gangguan kesehatan mental baby blues syndrome. Penggarapan karya ini bertujuan memberitahukan dan mengedukasi kepada masyarakat bahwa gangguan kesehatan mental dapat terjadi pada seorang ibu dan tidak bisa disepelekan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penggarapan karya ini adalah Art-Based Research (ABR) yang merupakan bentuk penelitian kualitatif dalam mengkaji manusia dan ditentukan oleh kehadiran kualitas estetik. Metode penciptaan David Campbell digunakan pada proses penggarapannya. Teknik pengumpulan data pada proses riset menggunakan teknik studi literature dan observasi di media sosial. Setelah proses penggarapan karya selesai, ditemukan hasil 1) makna Elegi Bimantara berartikan kesedihan pada jiwa yang hebat, digambarkan untuk para ibu penyintas baby blues syndrome; 2) proses penciptaan karya menggunakan teori David Campbell dengan lima tahapan yakni tahap persiapan, tahap konsentrasi, tahap inkubasi, tahap iluminasi, dan tahap verifikasi. Padaproses ini didapatkan enak buah akun yang menjadi sumber ide cerita; (3) Berdasarkan hasil akumulasi penilaian kualitas, antologi cerpen Elegi Bimantara dapat disimpulkan memenuhi kriteria penilaian dengan skor akhir 78,51%; (4) antologi cerpen Elegi Bimantara sudah melalui proses publikasi di acara diseminasi mbkm riset prodi pada 24 Januari 2024. The background to the creation of the short story anthology Elegi Bimantara was the rise in cases of violence against children committed by biological mothers and the increasingly rapid digitalization which has made social media become an online diary for society. This problem is known to occur as a result of the mental health disorder baby blues syndrome. The aim of this work is to inform and educate the public that mental health disorders can occur in mothers and cannot be ignored. The research method used in producing this work is Art-Based Research (ABR), which is a form of qualitative research in studying humans and is determined by the presence of aesthetic qualities. David Campbell's creation method was used in the creation process. Data collection techniques in the research process use literature study techniques and observations on social media. After the process of creating the work was completed, the results were found: 1) the meaning of Elegy Bimantara means sadness for a great soul, described for mothers who are survivors of baby blues syndrome; 2) the work creation process uses David Campbell's theory with five stages, namely the preparation stage, concentration stage, incubation stage, illumination stage and verification stage. In this process, delicious accounts are obtained which are sources of story ideas; (3) Based on the accumulated results of the quality assessment, the short story anthology Elegi Bimantara can be concluded to meet the assessment criteria with a final score of 78.51%; (4) the short story anthology Elegi Bimantara has gone through the publication process at the study program research mbkm dissemination event on January 24 2024.
