    Abstract

    Sikap dan perilaku anak-anak di Sekolah Dasar (SD) merupakan aspek yang penting dalam pendidikan, karena masa SD dianggap sebagai momen krusial dalam membentuk nilai-nilai dan moral siswa. Krisis identitas yang dialami oleh anak SD merupakan bagian dari proses perkembangan yang dapat memperburuk kondisi, menyebabkan stres, dan ketidakpastian yang lebih besar. Seperti kasus yang terjadi di salah satu Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Kota Bandung yang melakukan self-cutting (melukai tangan sendiri) menggunaka
    silet atau pisau cutter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk
    mengetahui gambaran secara mendalam tentang perilaku self-cuttingpada siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek utama penelitian adalah siswa SD yang pernah melakukan self-cutting. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan tahapan analisis data pada penelitian ini diawali dengan reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian diantaranya: (1)
    Perilaku self-cutting dipersepsikan oleh siswa SD sebagai sesuatu yang 'keren' atau 'tren', selain itu paparan self-cutting pada sosial media dianggap sesuatu yang sudah ‘biasa’; (2) faktor pendorong perilaku self-cutting yaitu lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan pertemanan, lingkungan sekolah, dukungan sosial, dan faktor media sosial; dan (3) dampak yang dialami oleh siswa yang pernah melakukan self-cutting meliputi sosial dan psikologi. Sehingga, fungsi pengawasan dan kontrol guru, sekolah, dan orang tua perlu dioptimalkan sebagai langkah preventif.

    The attitudes and behavior of children in elementary school (SD) are an important aspect of education, because elementary school is considered a crucial moment in forming students' values and morals. The identity crisis experienced by elementary school children is part of a developmental process that can worsen conditions, cause stress and greater uncertainty. Like the case that occurred in one of the
    elementary schools (SD) in Bandung City where they carried out self-cutting (injuring their own hands) using a razor or cutter knife. The aim of this research is to find out an in-depth description of self-cutting behavior in elementary school (SD) students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The main research subjects were elementary school students who had done self-cutting. The data collection techniques used were participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the
    data analysis stages in this research begin with data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the research include: (1) Self-cutting behavior is perceived by elementary school students as something 'cool' or 'trending', apart from that exposure to self-cutting on social media is considered something that is 'normal'; (2) factors driving self-cutting behavior, namely family environment, friendship environment, school environment, social support, and social media factors; and (3) the impacts experienced by students who have carried out self-cutting include social and psychological. Thus, the supervision and control functions of teachers, schools and
    parents need to be optimized as a preventive measure.
