Abstract

Kondisi lingkungan yang semakin menburuk dari tahun ke tahun mulai menjadi keresahan umat manusia di seluruh penjuru dunia. Sudah saatnya untuk mengambil tindakan yang tegas dan berani demi terciptanya lingkungan yang layak untuk dihuni. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan menanamkan green behavior pada masing-masing individu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis green behavior peserta didik di SMA PGII 1 Bandung serta menganalisis faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat yang mempengaruhi green behavior. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari peserta didik, guru, dan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum. Pengambilan subjek narasumber peserta didik menggunakan teknik snowball sampling dan didapatkan narasumber berjumlah 12 orang peserta didik dari kelas X, XI, XII MIPA dan IPS, 2 orang guru, dan 1 orang wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik di SMA PGII 1 Bandung secara sadar dan
tidak sadar sudah banyak menerapkan green behavior berdasarkan tiga prinsip kunci yakni respect for the earth, care for life, dan adopt patterns of production, comsumption and
reproduction yang juga didukung oleh sarana dan prasarana sekolah seperti tempat sampah yang memadai, tempat mencuci tangan, dan alat kebersihan yang lengkap serta terdapat komunitas pecinta alam yang aktif mengikuti kegiatan sosial dan pelestarian lingkungan. Faktor penghambat green behavior di sekolah yang berasal dari kurangnya motivasi dari pihak peserta didik, kesulitan membuat program baru bertemakan lingkungan oleh pihak
sekolah, dan kebijakan pemerintah yang kurang maksimal dalam melakukan pelestarian lingkungan.

Environmental conditions that are getting worse from year to year are starting to become a concern for humanity throughout the world. It is time to take firm and courageous action to create a livable environment. One effort that can be made is to instill green behavior in each individual. The aim of this research is to analyze the green behavior of students at
SMA PGII 1 Bandung and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors that influence green behavior. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with research subjects
consisting of students, teachers and deputy principals in the curriculum area. The source subjects were taken using the snowball sampling technique and the sources were 12
students from classes X, The results of this research are that students at SMA PGII 1 Bandung have consciously and unconsciously implemented many green behaviors based
on three key principles, namely respect for the earth, care for life, and adopt patterns of production, consumption and reproduction which are also supported by school facilities
and infrastructure such as adequate rubbish bins, hand washing facilities and complete cleaning equipment and there is a community of nature lovers who actively participate in
social and environmental conservation activities. Factors inhibiting green behavior in schools come from a lack of motivation on the part of students, difficulties in creating new
programs with environmental themes by schools, and government policies that are less than optimal in preserving the environment.
