Abstract
Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti aspek sosial selaku cerminan dari kehidupan masyarakat yang terdapat dalam karya yang berupa kumpulan cerita pendek berjudul “Ruruntuk” karya Tiktik Rusyani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur cerita pendek dan aspek-aspek sosial yang terdapat dalam kumpulan cerpen “Ruruntuk” karya Tiktik Rusyani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan sumber data utamanya adalah buku kumpulan cerpen “Ruruntuk” karya Tiktik Rusyani. Data yang didapatkan berupa hasil analisis dengan tehnik studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: pertama, adanya struktur cerita dalam kumpulan cerpen “Ruruntuk” karya Tiktik Rusyani yang teridiri dari tema, fakta cerita (alur, tokoh, latar), dan sarana sastra (judul dan sudut pandang); kedua, adanya aspek sosial dalam kumpulan cerpen tersebut yang terdiri dari lima aspek, yaitu aspek sosial agama, aspek sosial pendidikan, aspek sosial moral, aspek sosial ekonomi, dan aspek sosial politik. The background of this research is to examine social aspects as a reflection of people's lives contained in the work in the form of a collection of short stories entitled "Ruruntuk" by Tiktik Rusyani. This study aims to describe the structure of the short stories and the social aspects contained in the collection of short stories "Ruruntuk" by Tiktik Rusyani. This study used a descriptive method with the main data source being the collection of short stories "Ruruntuk" by Tiktik Rusyani. The data obtained is in the form of results of analysis using literature study techniques. The results of this study are, firstly, there is a story structure in the collection of short stories "Ruruntuk" by Tiktik Rusyani which consists of themes, story facts (plot, characters, setting), and literary means (title and point of view); secondly there is a social aspect in the collection of short stories which consists of five aspects, namely the social aspect of religion, the social aspect of education, the socio-moral aspect, the socio-economic aspect, and the socio-political aspect.
