    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana perspektif guru matematika dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa serta apa yang menjadi faktor kesulitan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan kesulitan belajar matematika siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan subjek penelitian yakni beberapa guru kelas salah satu sekolah dasar negeri Serang di Banten, SDN Umbul Kapuk. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara terstruktur. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Model Milles dan Huberman dengan 3 tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa perspektif guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa diantaranya: 1. Terdapat faktor internal dan faktor eksternal penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika; 2. Terdapat kesulitan yang sering dihadapi oleh guru sebagai fasilitator selama pembelajaran matematika; 3. Metode pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran merupakan satu kesatuan dari terciptanya pembelajaran berkualitas sehingga menunjang hasil belajar siswa.

    This research aims to describe the perspective of mathematics teachers in overcoming students' learning difficulties and what factors cause teachers' difficulties in overcoming the mathematics learning difficulties of fourth grade elementary school students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method, with research subjects namely several class teachers at one of the Serang state elementary schools in Banten, SDN Umbul Kapuk. Data collection was carried out through structured interviews. The data analysis technique uses the Milles and Huberman Model with 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The research results show that there are several teacher perspectives in overcoming students' learning difficulties, including: 1. There are internal factors and external factors that cause students' learning difficulties in learning mathematics; 2. There are difficulties that teachers as facilitators often face during mathematics learning; 3. Learning methods and learning media are an integral part of creating quality learning so as to support student learning outcomes.
