    Abstract

sudut pandang linguistik sosiopragmatik.
memuji. Temuan selanjutnya menunjukkan bahwa respon terhadap tuturan
ekspresif didominasi oleh tuturan ekspresif. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat
disiumpulkan bahwa latar belakang komentator mempengaruhi penggunaan tuturan
ekspresif beserta responsnya. Implikasi Penelitian dapat memberikan pemahaman
lebih mendalam mengenai faktor-faktor latar belakang penutur memengaruhi gaya
    komunikasi dan responsnya.

Expression is a phenomenon in human communication aimed at conveying feelings and
thoughts. This phenomenon has several scopes, both verbal and non-verbal. This research
discusses expressive speech acts and their responses in the discourse of sportainment
commentators from a sociopragmatic linguistic perspective. The method used is qualitative
descriptive involving the analysis of speech in YouTube videos. The theory used in this
research is the illocutionary speech act theory proposed by Searle dan Vanderveken
(1985). Based on the findings and data analysis, expressive speech acts expressed by
commentators are predominantly in the form of praising expressions. Subsequent findings
indicate that responses to expressive speech acts are dominated by expressive speech acts
as well. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the background of the
commentator influences the use of expressive speech acts and their responses. The
implications of this research can provide a deeper understanding of how the background
factors of the speaker affect communication styles and responses
