Abstract
Panggung industri hiburan semakin berkembang, dilihat dari segi kostum yang mereka kenakan saat melakoni sebuah peran seni. Kostum pertunjukkan ini disebut juga costume performing art yang mengarah pada pengimplementasian dalam menciptakan karakter pertunjukkan seni. Pembelajaran costume performing art ini kemudian diteliti untuk mendapatkan manfaat dari hasil belajar costume performing art sebagai kesiapan menjadi costume designer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data mengenai manfaat hasil belajar dari costume performing art sebagai kesiapan menjadi costume designer ditinjau dari pemahaman teori costume, pembuatan proposal desain kostum, dan pembuatan costume performing art. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian survei dan alat pengumpul data berupa angket. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel total sebanyak 30 responden. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan simpulan berupa manfaat hasil belajar costume performing art pada mahasiswa angkatan 2011 Prodi Kriya Tekstil dan Mode Universitas Telkom Bandung lebih dari setengahnya merasakan manfaat hasil belajar costume performing art pada pembuatan kostum sesuai karakteristik tokoh perfilman, hal ini menunjang mahasiswa untuk bekerja di dunia industri hiburan sebagai kesiapan menjadi costume designer. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the benefits of learning outcomes costume performing art as a costume designer readiness into understanding the theory in terms of costume, costume design proposal development, and manufacture of costume performing art. The method used is descriptive method with the type of survey research and data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The sample used is the total sample of 30 respondents. The results of data processing show a benefit conclusions costume performing art of learning outcomes on student class of 2011 Prodi Craft Textile and Fashion University Telkom Bandung more than half feel the benefits of learning outcomes costume performing at the art of making costumes suit the characteristics of the film, it is supporting the students to work in the world readiness into the entertainment industry as costume designer.
