Abstract
Majelis Taklim merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam nonformal yang ada di tengah-tengah masyarakat, tujuannya sebagai pembinaan keagamaan untuk masyarakat. Majelis Taklim ini dihimpun dalam organisasi yang dinamakan Badan Kerjasama Majelis Taklim Masjid (BKMM). Dalam pelaksanaannya suatu organisasi membutuhkan manajemen untuk mengatur urusan organisasi tersebut, terutama dalam hal perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Termasuk pada BKMM Cabang Kecamatan Sukaresmi membutuhkan strategi dalam melaksanakan manajemennya. Manajemen strategik merupakan proses perencanaan jangka panjang yang disusun dan digunakan untuk menentukan dan mencapai tujuan-tujuan organisasi. Manajemen strategi dirumuskan melalui teknik analisis SWOT. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Karena metode ini cocok untuk mendeskripsikan secara realitas mengenai manajerial yang dilakukan BKMM melalui fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan. Setelah di analisis menggunakan analisis SWOT terhadap fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan pada manajerial di BKMM Cabang Kecamatan Sukaresmi ditemukan bahwa kekuatan terletak pada program-program yang menginduk pada BKMM Daerah Kabupaten Cianjur, dan ketua yang mampu mengkordinir dengan baik dan kelemahannya terdapat pada tidak direncanakannya program dengan baik, dan pengurus yang sering menunda pekerjaan. Sedangkan peluang yang dimiliki terletak pada program-program yang positif sehingga bisa menarik masa dan hubungan dekat dengan pemerintahan setempat karena berada di lingkungan pemerintahan, sementara hambatan yang ditemukan adalah tidak meratanya Majelis Taklim yang bisa berkordinasi dengan pengurus BKMM dan pengawasan yang tidak konsisten menghambat evaluasi terhadap Majelis Taklim. Adapun strategi yang dirumuskan berdasarkan analisis tersebut adalah memaksimalkan program kerja yang dapat menarik banyak massa, meningkatkan hubungan harmonis dengan para birokrat, mengintenskan hubungan dengan para birokrat, dan membimbing para pengurus untuk memiliki pengetahuan tentang administrasi organisasi. Kata kunci : Analisis SWOT, Pendidikan Islam. Majelis Taklim is one of Islamic non-formal educational institutions existing in the society with the aim of developing religiosity of the society. It is coordinated under the organization named BKMM or Council for Cooperation of Mosque’s Majelis Taklim. In its administration, an organization requires a management to regulate organizational businesses, ultimately in terms of planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. BKMM of Sukaresmi District Branch, Cianjur, is not without exception; it needs strategies in implementing its management. Strategic management is a process of long-term planning, formulated and used to determine and achieve organizational objectives. Strategic management is formulated through SWOT analysis technique. In this research, the researcher employed qualitative approach using descriptive method, for this method is suitable to describe realistically the managerial implemented by BKMM through the functions of planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. Having analyzed the functions of planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of the managerial of BKMM of Sukaresmi District Branch using SWOT analysis, it was found that the strengths were in the programs under the coordination of the Regional BKMM of Cianjur Regency and in the ability of the head of the council to coordinate its managerial well. Meanwhile, the weaknesses were found in the programs which were not well-planned and the fact that the managerial staffs/executive board frequently procrastinated in doing their jobs. On the other hand, opportunities were in the positive programs that could attract the mass and the close relationship built with the local government because of the council’s position in the government, whereas the threats were observed in the unequal coordination among the Majelis Taklims with the executive board of BKMM and the inconsistent monitoring that inhibited evaluation of Majelis Taklim. As for the strategies formulated based on the analysis, they consisted of maximizing work programs able to attract the mass, improving and intensifying a harmonious relationship with the bureaucrats, and developing the executive board in order to gain knowledge on the administration of an organization.
