Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya anggapan bahwa menulis aksara Sunda itu sulit, dan kurangnya metode pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis aksara Sunda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas metode kolaborasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menulis aksara Sunda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen murni (true experimental research). Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar tes. Model yang diujicobakan yaitu dengan menerapkan metode kolaborasi pada pembelajaran menulis aksara Sunda. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Warungkiara. Kelas yang digunakan sebagai sampel adalah kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol, yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 orang. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh skor rata-rata tes awal pada kelas eksperimen adalah 33,17, sedangkan skor rata-rata pada tes akhir mengalami peningkatan menjadi 73, setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan metode kolaborasi. Selain itu, untuk skor rata-rata kelas kontrol pada tes awal adalah 30,7, sedangkan pada tes akhir setelah adanya pembelajaran menggunakan metode ceramah mengalami peningkatan menjadi 65,5. Ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan akhir kelas ekperimen dan kemampuan akhir kelas kontrol dalam pembelajaran menulis aksara Sunda. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji hipotesis yang menunjukkan bahwa thitung (7,257) ≥ ttabel (2,46). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, bisa disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode kolaborasi dalam pembelajaran menulis aksara Sunda itu efektif dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis aksara Sunda.

This research based on the notion that write Sundanese script is difficult, and the lack of instructional methods used in teaching writing Sundanese script. This research aimed to describe the effectiveness the collaboration methods in learning activities Sundanese script writing. The method used in this study is purely experimental method (true experimental research). The technique used in this study is a test technique. The instrument used is the test sheet. The model which is tested is by applying the collaborative method learning Sundanese script writing. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Warungkiara. The experiment class is class X science 1 and the control class is class X Science 2, which amounted to 30 people. The results were obtained an average score on the initial test experimental class was 33.17, while the average score at the end of the test increased to 73, after a study carried out using the methods of collaboration. In addition, for an average score of grade control at the beginning of the test were 30.7, whereas at the end of the test after learning to use the lecture method increased to 65.5. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the learning methods of collaboration in the Sundanese script writing effective and can improve the learning ability of students in Sundanese script writing.
