    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) kontribusi metode pembelajaran sugesti imajinasi berbasis media trailer film dalam pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran, dan (2) kelebihan dan kekurangan dari penggunaannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan kurangnya kemampuan dan antusiasme pembelajar terhadap keterampilan menulis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra eksperimen dengan desain penelitian the one shot case study. Metode pembelajaran sugesti imajinasi diterapkan dengan cara memberikan dua kali perlakuan kepada 20 orang siswa kelas XI Jurusan Akuntansi di SMK Pasundan Putra Cimahi dan selanjutnya diberikan tes untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis siswa setelah pemberian perlakuan. Dalam penelitian ini, metode pembelajaran sugesti imajinasi berbasis media trailer film yang telah digunakan sebagai salah satu metode pembelajaran dalam keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi pada siswa kelas XI menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil tes, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa adalah 76.5 yang berarti nilai rata-rata tersebut berada pada interval persentase 76%-85%, sehingga dapat dikategorikan penguasaan materi dan penggunaan metode serta media pembelajaran baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tes di atas dapat menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode sugesti imajinasi berbasis media trailer film berkontribusi dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan deskriptif bahasa Perancis pada tingkatan pemula A1. Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket peneliti menyimpulkan kesulitan yang dialami pembelajar yaitu mengkonjugasikan kata kerja dan tata bahasa Perancis, menemukan kosa kata yang tepat dan menemukan ide dalam membuat karangan. Setelah menggunakan metode sugesti imajinasi 55% siswa merasa sangat terbantu untuk menulis bahasa Perancis karena lebih mudah dalam menemukan ide tulisan.

    This research investigates the use of the method of imaginative suggestion using the media of trailer film in the teaching of descriptive writing skills. The objectives of this research are to present (1) the contribution of the method of imaginative suggestion to the objectives of the teaching of descriptive writing skills, (2) the advantages and the weaknesses of the method of imaginative suggestion. This research proposes two questions to be answered: (1) can this method contribute to the objectives of the teaching of descriptive writing skills? (2) what are the advantages and the weaknesses of the method of imaginative suggestion ? To answer those questions, this research utilizes: (1) written test, (2) questionnaire and (3) literature study. The results are: (1) the method of imaginative suggestion contributes to the objectives of the teaching of descriptive writing skills, (2) there are three advantages found in this research (a) it stimulates the imagination to write essay, (b) it facilitates in creating the main ideas of writing essay, (c) the method of imaginative suggestion creates good atmosphere in the classroom, and the weakness is the students are focuses to the trailer film.
