Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung pada mata pelajaran ekonomi, hal ini terlihat dari hasil Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 yang sebagian besar masih belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-confidence terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dengan kompetensi pedagogik guru sebagai variabel moderator. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei eksplanatori dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 241 siswa yang diperoleh melalui teknik random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda dengan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: self-confidence berada pada kategori tinggi, kompetensi pedagogik guru berada pada kategori tinggi, dan rata-rata hasil belajar berada di bawah KKM. Self-confidence berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar. Kompetensi pedagogik guru tidak memoderasi pengaruh self-confidence terhadap hasil belajar. This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes of XI Social Science Class at Public High School in Bandung in the economy subject. This is apparent from the outcomes of the Final Semester Assessment in the odd semester 2021/2022 school year which still have not achieved the Minimum Mastery Criterion. This study aims to acknowledge the effect of self-confidence towards the student learning outcomes in the economy subject with the teacher pedagogical competence as a moderator variable. It uses explanatory survey methods by utilizing questionnaires as a means of data collection. The population includes students of XI Social Science Class at Public High School in Bandung with a total sample of 241 students obtained by random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The finding shows that self-confidence is in the high category, teacher pedagogical competence is also in the high category, and the average of learning outcomes is below the Minimum Mastery Criterion. Self-confidence has a positive effect on learning outcomes. Teacher pedagogical competence does not moderate the effect of self-confidence on learning outcomes.
