Abstract
Penelitian mengenai peran guru dalam membangun keterlibatan siswa saat proses pembelajaran, sejauh ini memusatkan pada input yang berdampak terhadap output dari berbagai metode atau pendekatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Padahal proses apa yang terjadi di dalam kelas merupakan fokus penting dalam mengeksplorasi wujud keterlibatan siswa. Interaktivitas antara guru dan siswa selama proses pembelajaran penting dalam membangun keterlibatan siswa. Sehingga luaran pembelajaran mampu mengupayakan perubahan yang berpusat pada siswa, secara objektif dapat dijadikan landasan ketercapaian kemampuan baru yang dimiliki siswa, dan menumbuhkan aktual-potensial. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi rekonstruksi peran guru di era disrupsi pendidikan, wujud pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa, dan kontribusi peran guru dalam membangun keterlibatan siswa. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dipilih sebagai desain metodologi penelitian. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru-guru sekolah di Bandung. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa sebagai fasilitator, guru berperan mengajarkan bagaimana menjadi pembelajar yang mandiri. Sedangkan sebagai katalisator, guru berperan menggugah siswa sehingga mampu mengeluarkan kompetensi terbaik dalam dirinya. Kegiatan apersepsi yang membawa siswa masuk ke dalam zona siap belajar, pola interaksi yang dirancang secara sokratik melalui pertanyaan pancingan, dan kemampuan guru dalam melakukan scaffolding saat pembelajaran merupakan wujud pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa. Bentuk kontribusi peran guru dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dilakukan dengan menyusun rencana pembelajaran berbasis pengembangan kapabilitas. ; Research on the role of teachers in building student engagement during the learning process has so far centred on the inputs that impact on the outputs of various learning methods or approaches. Whereas the process of what happens in the classroom is an important focus in exploring the form of student engagement. Interactivity between teachers and students during the learning process is important in building student engagement. So that learning outcomes are able to strive for student-centred change, objectively can be used as a basis for the achievement of new abilities possessed by students, and foster actual-potential. This research explores the reconstruction of the teacher's role in the era of educational disruption, the form of learning that involves students, and the contribution of the teacher's role in building student engagement. A qualitative approach with a case study method was chosen as the research methodological design. The sample in this study is school teachers in Bandung. The results explained that as facilitators, teachers play a role in teaching how to be independent learners. While as a catalyst, the teacher's role is to inspire students so that they are able to bring out the best competence in themselves. Apperception activities that bring students into the ready-to-learn zone, interaction patterns that are designed socratic through stimulating questions, and the teacher's ability to do scaffolding during learning are forms of learning that involve students. The contribution of the teacher's role in increasing student involvement is done by preparing a learning plan based on capability development.
