Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay berbantuan media konkret untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh kelas V yang terdiri dari dua kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VA dan VB di SDN Kramatwatu I yang berjumlah masing-masing 25 siswa dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa instrumen tes. Data dianalisis dengan cara mencari rata-rata nilai siswa, yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel, sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil perhitungan uji t menggunakan uji paired t-test dan uji independent t-test, Sig. = 0,000 > 0,05, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya adanya perbedaan rata-rata yaitu 88,92 dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model konvesional 70,60. Yang juga diperkuat dengan hasil data uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data pretest-posttest kelas eksperimen berdistribusi dengan normal karena kedua nilainya > 0,05, dan hasil uji homogenitas memiliki tingkat variansi yang sama atau homogen. Hal ini juga didukung dengan hasil N-Gain kedua kelas rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 40% sedangkan kelas eksperimen mendapatkan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 80%. Dengan kata lain, pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) di kelas eksperimen terbilang efektif diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan adanya peningkatan dalam hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V pada materi bangun ruang menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay berbatuan media konkret.
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Course Review Horay type cooperative model assisted by concrete media to improve mathematics learning outcomes for fifth grade students. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population used is all class V which consists of two classes. The sample in this study were VA and VB graders at SDN Kramatwatu I, which totaled 25 students each with a cluster random sampling technique. The design used in this study is the Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument. The data were analyzed by finding the average student scores, which were presented in tabular form, so that conclusions were obtained. Based on the data analysis of the results of the calculation of the t test using the paired t-test and the independent t-test, Sig. = 0.000 > 0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an average difference of 88.92 with the control class using the conventional model of 70.60. Which is also reinforced by the results of the normality test data showing that the pretest-posttest data for the experimental class are normally distributed because both values are > 0.05, and the homogeneity test results have the same or homogeneous level of variance. This is also supported by the N-Gain results for both classes, the average N-Gain is 40%, while the experimental class gets an average N-Gain of 80%. In other words, cooperative learning of the Course Review Horay (CRH) type in the experimental class was fairly effectively implemented.
