Abstract

Chromebook dapat menjadi media pendukung siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran dengan mendorong siswa eksplorasi mandiri dan eksperimen untuk memahami konsep-konsep sumber daya alam secara langsung. Maka dari itu peneliti mencoba mengkolaborasikan Chromebook dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning berimplikasi kepada peningkatan hasil materi sumber daya alam di kelas 4 sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan Non-Equivalent (pretest-posttest) Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 60 siswa dari 2 Sekolah Dasar, yang terdiri dari 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dengan pemberian perlakukan model discovery learning berbantuan chromebook dan kelompok kontrol dengan pemberian perlakukan model konvensional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata N-Gain dari kelompok eksperimen yaitu materi sumber daya alam = 13,97, sedangkan kelompok kontrol yaitu materi sumber daya alam = 9,90. Adapun hasil dari uji statistik pengaruh menujukkan nilai signifikansi lebih dari 0,05, nilai signifikansi kelompok eksperimen yaitu materi sumber daya alam = 0,000, sedangkan kelompok kontrol yaitu materi sumber daya alam = 0,000. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan chromebook meningkatkan hasil belajar materi sumber daya alam siswa kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar. Selain itu juga model discovery learning berbantuan chromebook ini memiliki pengaruh yang lebih baik dari pada model konvensional terhadap hasil belajar materi sumber daya alam pada siswa kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar. Chromebooks can be a supporting medium for students and teachers in learning by encouraging students to explore independently and experiment to understand the concepts of natural resources directly. Therefore researchers are trying to collaborate Chromebooks with discovery learning learning models which have implications for increasing the results of natural resource materials in grade 4 elementary schools. This research is a quantitative study with a Non-Equivalent (pretest-posttest) Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 60 students from 2 elementary schools, which consisted of 2 groups, namely the experimental group treated with the chromebook-assisted discovery learning model and the control group treated with conventional models. The results of the analysis show that the average N-Gain of the experimental group, namely natural resource material = 13.97, while the control group, namely natural resource material = 9.90. The results of the statistical test of influence showed a significance value of more than 0.05, the significance value of the experimental group was natural resource material = 0.000, while the control group was natural resource material = 0.000. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the chromebook-assisted discovery learning model improves the learning outcomes of natural resource material for 4th grade elementary school students. In addition, this chromebook-assisted discovery learning model has a better effect than the conventional model on natural resource material in grade 4 elementary school students
